Anything that my Grandma made that I'll sadly never experience again. She made the absolute best pies and I've never tasted anything that holds a candle to them, period. Nothing like homemade apple, lemon meringue, chocolate, blueberry, raspberry, raspberry/blueberry. I could go on and on but I'd like to stop drooling.
Had a veal chop special at Il Mulino in NYC in the 90's that I still dream about today. Was stuffed with fontina, spinach, and prosciutto. Fucking outrageous.
One of the single best bites of food I've had in my life was a foie gras brulee from Eleven Madison Park in NY.
YES!!! I remember this. Always one of the best dining experiences every time I'm there. Top notch all around.

That sounds fucking spectacular. Morels are my favorite ingredient. Just pan roast with some butter and herbage.
I like Anthony's pizza also...some of those deep dish pies must way more than five pounds.
My fav is the carnivour (sp>).
I've travelled a lot....a couple of dinners in Northern Italy and one in Paris are memories I'd love to repeat. In the US, my favorite restaurant is the Inn at Little Washington, about an hour out of DC in the foothills of the Blueridge Mountains.

Went to an Amish market and bought a block of cheddar and a block of pepper jack, then jalepeno cheddar bread. Made grilled cheese with it. Sat around the rest of the day thinking about how amazing it was.
Either that, or the especial tacos from San Marcos in Toledo at Hill and Byrne. So simple. But so good.

New Orlean's BBQ shrimp at Mr. B's Bistro in New Orleans. Sweet holy God.
Hard to pick just one but the most memorable is a tie between the lobster stew at Lochober's in Boston (made famous by JFK who ordered it regularly) and the green apple sorbet at Le Bernardin in New York. I ate the sorbet when I was 20, and it tasted more like green apples than green apples do - a revelation, and one of the reasons I ended up going to cooking school and becoming a pastry chef.
I haven't had Gibson's yet, but I definitely have Bavette's above CC. It was probably the greatest meal I've ever had. The bacon plate. Oh god, the bacon plate.

I abhor the name Bone in Filet almost as much as I abhor filet mignon. How can you have a bone in "boneless piece of meat."?
I'm not even a big dessert guy, especially after a big meal, but you just have to do it. Sorbet or frozen praline coffee for me.

I'm not a big food person, but once got some cheese ravioli dish in a small place in Florence. I was blown away. Don't remember the name of the place.
Frita Batido's is up there as well.
