How is Ohio Stadium on that list?

I went there after they "renovated" the place a decade ago and it still looked a complete dump.

I know that routinely making people click multiple times to read one article tells google that the site is "interesting" and "relevant," and results in a higher page ranking, but I refuse to read crap like that. It reminds me of Bleacher Report.

Besides, after the Big House, the other stadiums are irrelevant.

This article was clearly written by someone who doesn't really follow college football. Our colors are not blue and yellow and we dont chant "Hail Hail to Michigan" we sing that as part of our fight song. I also have a hard time believing that Boise St has one of the best stadiums in college football while places like Wisconsin, Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, and Georgia are left off the list.

This guy is a complete idiot in terms of his understanding of college football. He lives in San Diego and went to Cal for his undergrad and Oregon for his grad. He is a Pac10 homer for sure.

I looked up his Linkedin profile and this is all that he could say about himself:

"Current projects include U.S. national parks book for National Geographic; Asian honeymoon and romantic getaway book for EDM; ongoing article series on UNESCO Marine World Heritage Sites for the International Herald Tribune in Paris; movie, music and supermodel cover stories for Prestige (Hong Kong); television series development for Creative Street Media and Craig Anderson Productions."

This guy probably hasnt even been to a college football game.

Not the biggest fan of the Arena, last time I was there was also for the NHL playoffs and my roommate pissed off the waitress and the chicken tenders made me sick somehow.

With that being said, I always found my front porch to be the best post game hangout, or maybe one of the bars near south campus or central campus.

Based on my experience going to several away games... The big difference Michgian Stadum has vs other stadium is 'no advertising'.

I can't believe how bad some of the other staduims look with ads plastered everywhere.

I have only been to a handful of college football stadiums: M Stadium tons of times, Memorial Stadium (Texas), Memorial Stadium (Illinois), Notre Dame Stadium, Ohio Stadium, Spartan Stadium (for hockey), the Cotton Bowl and the Rose Bowl.

I would say M Stadium by far the most impressive stadium with the Rose Bowl getting kudos for a magnificent setting (mountains and palm trees plus it was the 97 team winning so it was awesome all around).

I would probably put Ohio Stadium next just due to the massive size although it is kind of a dump (although M won when I went!)

As for the rest that I have been to, not very impressive to me.

I picture Beaver Stadium and Neyland? Stadium being impressive but have never been.

I need Michigan to play in the Rose Bowl to erase the horror of seeing a UCLA game there.

A few years ago, my cousin was on the D-Line for Oregon State, so my family went to the game when they played in Pasadena. There was no discernible student section. The band was unmentionable. The PA played a ton of RAWK. All in all, it was a bland experience.
Just made me realize how blessed we are to have UM and Michigan Stadium.

I know it's Ohio and all, but I honestly thought the Horseshoe was a pretty decent place to see a game. Great atmosphere, and the renovation (which was one of a chosen few Michigan examined before we did ours) was really well done.

Of course, it's Ohio. But still. Once you've been to stadiums that are truly dumps (Illinois, Sparty, and Northwestern, I'm looking at you)... The Shoe is more than decent.

Now prepared for the inevitable negbang.

Does anybody else here get annoyed like I do when lists like these do not put the stadiums in actual order of first to last? I WANTS FURTHER CONFIRMATION OF OUR AWESOMENESS

Seeing the full big house in this post made me realize the withdrawl from Michigan Football that I'm having. I won't have been to the Big House in 3 weeks! My skin is getting pale and I'm developing a weird spasm in my left leg.

must....have.....Michigan....football (spasm)

Michigan Stadium, Beaver Stadium, Rose Bowl, Cotton Bowl, Notre Dame, Between the Hedges, Death Valley, and Autzen. Neyland is an abomination...the only reason they have so many seats is that they are so small...hated it. My only time at The Horseshoe I ended up behind a pillar. More reason not to like ohio.
