Best Buckeye Insult of MGoBlog Ever.
Luke, aka @worstfan, over at Eleven Warriors does his best summary of mgoblog:
"As long as you hate, there will be people to hate" MGoBlog is a superb site we often pay lip service to what with their being the model for most other individual team blogs to aspire towards. Seeing as this is the one week where their and our content respectively may have overlap, I figure why not jump over and check and see what wisdom they have to impart on us Buckeyes:
Yikes. It's just like USA Today.
We're NERDS! But in all fun... AND ALL HATE... 11W is a good site. Luke's a good guy.
HIS SCHOOL FUCKING SUCKS.

But due to the current week, I HATE IT. Hatehatehatehate

i believe he means 'i pull it up on my computer so people think i'm well read but really there's just lots of pictures and a low reading level requirement'
November 22nd, 2010 at 2:14 PM ^
You describe it more exactly than I do.
November 22nd, 2010 at 3:22 PM ^
coach fail unacceptable but me think options limited and wins in future
November 22nd, 2010 at 4:44 PM ^
Goldarn it, Mr. Lamarr, you use your tongue prettier than a $20 whore.
November 22nd, 2010 at 4:10 PM ^
fractal geometry!
November 22nd, 2010 at 2:14 PM ^
I actually laughed out loud to that. I hate OSU for that and for pretty much everything they do.
November 22nd, 2010 at 3:56 PM ^
I read it in Charlie's voice. It's really effective at making me laugh.
November 22nd, 2010 at 4:45 PM ^
Perhaps I could interest you in a pair of kitten mittens then?
November 22nd, 2010 at 9:41 PM ^
"Let me tell you a little lesson buddy. The cream always rises to the top, and I'm about to show you the white hot cream of an eighth grade boy."
November 22nd, 2010 at 2:16 PM ^
Why are you focusing on Ohio State? Don't you know that we could send MSU to the Rose Bowl?! Rabble Rabble.
Good to see some rivalry week stuff.
November 22nd, 2010 at 2:17 PM ^
UFR...
November 22nd, 2010 at 2:19 PM ^
I wonder how many posts like that would ever go up at RCMB? At least some respectable Buckeye fans exist. As for MSU? well...
November 22nd, 2010 at 2:19 PM ^
I believe we have been pwned.
November 22nd, 2010 at 2:28 PM ^
you mean that we display our higher knowledge and understanding in our college's blog, then yes, pwned indeed.
November 22nd, 2010 at 2:28 PM ^
at least Ohio State is still excited about being our rival.
November 22nd, 2010 at 2:32 PM ^
Last I checked we still own the series lead...
November 22nd, 2010 at 2:29 PM ^
Whoo bukeyeeeeees, woooo!
November 22nd, 2010 at 2:32 PM ^
I don't get any insult whatsoever from that. In other words, he's pointing out that we back up what we say with visible evidence whereas they just spout off whatever they want and hope somebody listens, which isn't very likely. I have no problem being a nerd, as long as it doesn't apply to sitting at home on the weekends playing dungeons and dragons with absoutely no social life.
November 22nd, 2010 at 2:37 PM ^
I immediately came back here, looking for that excellent page of wonderful charts.
November 22nd, 2010 at 2:41 PM ^
My wife and I are nerds, and we like to stay home and play dungeons on the weekends. You should try it some time, its fun, so don't knock it if you havn't tried it. I don't know what that dragons thing is ..... sounds like it could be fun too.
November 22nd, 2010 at 2:47 PM ^
They got that fucking counter at C-bus dispatch. I hope M can stop that fucking clock. Charts are probably a little over their heads.
November 22nd, 2010 at 2:54 PM ^
There does seem to be an over-emphasis on charts/tables here at mgoblog. I hope I'm not the only person who gets annoyed when I see tables that are poorly formatted and serve to complicate the presentation of otherwise great discussion (example?). Graphics are a great way to break down the points in a meaningful and insightful manner -- on the other hand, assembling lots of rows of stuff with no particular focus is largely detrimental.

Nice writing style. /s
November 22nd, 2010 at 3:33 PM ^
Was anyone else amused that he decided to use the verb "figure" in that joke?
November 22nd, 2010 at 3:37 PM ^
I wondered for just an instant why "figure" instead of "reckon."
November 22nd, 2010 at 3:33 PM ^
I read that paragraph, and thought almost the same. Can one study English at OSU?
O how I hate Ohio State.
Go BLUE!!
November 22nd, 2010 at 3:09 PM ^
anyone else making the trek to that shithole this weekend?
Anyways, I'll be in 3C row 18 or something like that. GO BLUE
I pray my suv is left alone.
November 22nd, 2010 at 3:25 PM ^
He's saying were smart and can make sufficient data to back up are opinions. Their fans, who are all a bunch of idiots would never be capable of doing that.
November 22nd, 2010 at 5:55 PM ^
Hey man, were smart too. I think many of my fellow Buckeyes can present are opinions in a very clear manner.
November 22nd, 2010 at 3:57 PM ^
Ford, based in Wolverine country, did this at OSU. ugh.
November 22nd, 2010 at 4:14 PM ^
That's it! Now I'm NEVER buying a Ford Escape.
/never even thought of buying one anyway
November 22nd, 2010 at 4:30 PM ^
I challenge you to sit in one (I have a limited) and not say that it is a really nice vehicle. I love mine.
November 22nd, 2010 at 5:06 PM ^
How Bill Ford let this happen I have no idea. If I knew where he lived in Barton Hills, I would protest by setting a '91 Contour on fire or something. Shame on you, Ford.
Ford could win back my gratitude, or course, by donating a few Million to the CoE to replace GG Brown.
November 22nd, 2010 at 5:12 PM ^
ford just made about 100 buckeyes dance around like idiots. this is great!
November 22nd, 2010 at 5:43 PM ^
it looks more like more people are doing O-Y-I-O
November 22nd, 2010 at 5:40 PM ^
In the upper right hand corner, their clothing / t-shirt link, they have a pic of Rita Rodriguez. I was surprised they would do that. Also, I always thought that RitaRod was younger than she seems to be in the photos linked on the Internet.
But seriously, I always thought family members were kinda off limits. I've never seen anything on Carr's wife, or Bo's, or Tressel's, for that matter. Maybe when you're a former cheerleader (i.e., Rita, Lane Kiffin's wife, or Leigh Anne Touhy.
November 22nd, 2010 at 9:53 PM ^
This is the only example I've seen come from this side of the rivalry.
November 22nd, 2010 at 5:54 PM ^
Hey all, I'm a huge Michigan fan and have come across a place to get 2 tickets to the ohio state game for far under face value. There are 2 tickets in Section 10C row 33. Go to iticketbid.com to at least check it out. Sale ends around 6! You might be able to get them for free if you use the promo code "rivalryweek" it will give you 5 free bids. Go wolverines! It sells in 2 hours tonight, just so you all know.
November 22nd, 2010 at 8:43 PM ^
I find that to be more of a compliment than a dis.
If the very best dig they can come up with is to make light of members of this blog supporting their entries with data and analytical evidence in chart form, it's hard to feel slighted. Yeah "nerd" and everything, but is making fun of a blog's members for being too smart (smarter than your blog's users) a knock on that blog or your own?
November 22nd, 2010 at 9:40 PM ^
but they forgot cat pictures.
