Benny McGowan hoping for an offer soon - Webb and Trieu on a roadtrip...

Hopefully we will hear more from Sam when he gets back but it looks like there is quite a roadtrip going on at the moment to see where all the Ohio talent is leaning.

I was very much intrigued by the reportage of McGowan's camp performances. This guy is built for punishment. I'm hoping he gets an offer soon. I'm sure it's not for lack of exposure as he is teammates with Odenigbo. I'd like to see film if anyone has any links - I haven't seen much for him. He did camp at ND and was not immediately offered. MSU did offer though...

Anyway this link just went up...thought I'd pass it on with some anticipation of recruiting roundups to come...

and the #2 OG (Tyler Orlosky is the #1 OG, the #23 player overall). Caleb Stacey listed as the #4 OG, the #37 player in OH.

McGowan's also on the ESPNU 150 Watchlist (there are 344 total players on that list, including 17 from OH - though I think this list is fluid). Not on the Rivals 250 Watch List.

McGowan was recently added to the ESPNU 150 Watchlist - he wasn't there a week or so ago.

Notable Deletes: Kelby Latta from Battle Creek MI, and Jonah Pirsig from MN. Not that this means much at this point. Latta has a Wisconsin offer, and Pirsig has offers from OSU, Iowa, Auburn, M, and others.

but at 6-4 and 290, he's going to hugely overmatch every defensive guy he's going against. Would be nice to see him here, though.
