I am not saying he is not a good prospect but I feel like we need a player who has a nasty streak who is playing mike linebacker. I want to see a player who is coming up looking to kill the ball carrier. I just don't see this kid doing that for us. We need some ball hawks for our no fly defense.

Wow, everyone is pretty down on this kid - it's just one video. He has a pretty decent early offer list. WVU, Pitt, Rutgers, Maryland - not super powers but not exactly MAC offers, and it's still early.

Considering that today was already his third visit, I'd say there is a pretty good chance he ends up in Maize & Blue. He seems like a good fit for the system they are trying to install. Very athletic, and able to be molded. I'd be happy if he were 1 of 3 LB's in this class, assuming one of them is a ready-to-go stud MLB(and the other one is Frost).

I understand the hesitation after the last two years, but if any of us were really qualified to coach for Michigan, then we could justifiably judge this kid's acumen. As it is, the coaching staff found him worthy of an offer. Let's withhold judgment until we see what RR can do with his current recruits.

I played D1 ball, and coached at the high school level for a while. While this still doesn't give me the resume to coach at Michigan, it definitely has put me in a position to see above average talent in college as well as at the high school level. I played at Central State University, and everyone of the LB's including myself had a tape that looked very similar if not better. (- Not me, but close) Yet none of us got offered to the University of Michigan. On the film this kid seems athletic, but as I said earlier he's not someone I would be pulling out all of the stops to get. With limited scholarships for next year, I would rather have a Stud! With a good year we should be able to acquire just that.

I hope you never question a coach's playcalling, clock management, personnel decisions, etc. On top of that, I hope you never question the decisions of the president or the governor or a local police officer.

Because...you know...you're probably not qualified to be POTUS. Or a governor. Maybe not a police officer, either.

The point? We question "professionals" all the time, and I'm sure you do it, too. Everyone does. As fans, we ALWAYS question what coaches and players do. Drawing the line at evaluating players is a completely arbitrary place to make a distinction.
