Would have been great to have him back for a fifth year.
good luck.
Thanks Hoke. Gedeon is a member of the All-Redshirt Burned team along with Sione Houma and Dymonte Thomas
Quite the announcement for Gedeon

ha love it, thats awesome. and good for gedeon
Rock solid in the middle. Great pick!
I think this brings our tally to: Peppers Charlton Wormley Lewis Hill Gedeon on defense. And Darboh on offense.
Tells you something about the roster last year.
Also tells you about next year...
Tells you Hoke recruited much better defensively than offiensively. Harbaugh has brought in elite talent on both sides of the ball, so the drop-off in defensive production should be minimal. Maybe not the number 1 defense again but top 10. With a much improved offense!
the S&P+ algortithm on football outsiders for the first half of last year. The reason that all the offense had to do was score more than net 3 points against OSU in regulation...and they couldn't do it. Arrgh.
Ben is another guy who benefitted greatly from the Harbaugh and Don Brown hires.
no doubt. good on hoke for recruiting and coaching him up for several years but gedeon shouldve played more...hes one of those dudes ill never understand why he played such a limited role...morgan and bolden were nice players but its pretty obvious gedeon had superior talent, and he produced in limited snaps...he didnt simply find that talent and begin producing when harbaugh arrived, it was there
Congrats to Ben!
