If he wasn't robbed on the national title in 2013 this wouldnt even be a discussion.  Truly unfortunate.  I don't quite understand why elite guards and wings wouldn't want to play him. They clearly develop and thrive in his offense.  Other coaches univerally praise his basketball mind and the results speak for themselves on the offensive end, even with mediocre talent. When he had good talent all he did was put up some of the best offenses in the history of Kenpom.  Fraschilla last night dispensed with the tired notion espoused by some around here that he is "system coach". He literally said Beilein is not one of those system coaches but he is a mad scientist constantly reinventing and creating teams that maximize his players talents whatever talent he has. People say he relies on the 3 pointer. What team doesn't these days? Kentucky?  You could argue he was ahead of the curve in that regard. When Beilein has the right talented players who have learned his offense, it's as good as any in college basketball.  I'd argue he is the college basketball equivalent of Chip Kelly at Oregon or Bob Stitt.
