Excellent job, Luke, thanks!

Man, that DE-FENSE chant...

Really hoping I get to experience that chant this weekend, since I missed last weekend's game. Leaving for AA tomorrow morning, can't wait. GO BLUE

Good clips, GREAT music, love the DE-FENSE chant. The problem with many hype vidoes is they use music that sucks - too slow, an entire four minute song, some ridiculous non-hit wonder band that no one ever liked, emo, death metal, etc.

Good hype videos have music that increases your heart rate and gets you pumped as it goes on, then it ends BOOM. leaves you wanting more. They also give you goosebumps and this one did. Kudos.

I was tempted to leave both threads, as it is such a good video, but in the end, we sort of need the space for all the activity that is Hate Week around here.

Well done on the video. Actually showed it to a few Wolverines (and non-blog people at that) in the office and they enjoyed it as well.

First off, it's good to have a highlight video that can feature highlights of JUST this year, not a smattering of highlights over the last 10 and a majority of ones from 10+ years ago.  That is a good feeling to have.

Secondly, that chant.  Wow.  Brought tears to my eyes.  Can't wait to show this video to my 4 year old.  She LOVES Michigan and will be very excited.

Lastly,  The only thing I've ever noticed wrong with Luke's videos is they end so abruptly.  Some of them don't even finish whatever was being said (Thinking of the hype videos for the tournament run in 13).  Is that because of editing or a choice?

I have the same criticism.  Great video, but the stop cut edits miss key parts.  For example on the Darboh catch, you see him go up (STOP!) then he's coming down with it.  The most critical moment is cut out.

Same with the De'Veon run.  We get to see the last few yards, but miss the part where he drags a guy 10 yards and throws him off.

I realize I cannot do better, but it's one thing I notice a lot in Luke's videos.    I did love the inclusion of the "Defense!" chant.
