Beat Ohio. Get to Yost
Man there's a lot of angst in the Michigan internet today. Enough of that. This Friday official B1G hockey resumes (check this great Gordon Berenson diary on its history http://mgoblog.com/diaries/history-big-ten-hockey-1922-present) with your top-5 Wolverines facing off against Ohio. The real one. Not the one that thinks its from Florida. Tickets are only $25 and available - no PSLs needed.
Get to Yost. Go Blue. Beat Ohio.

Watch their hockey team miraculously beat ours and then we get destroyed on Saturday. FML.

Sorry. I'm just very pessimistic lately. That is what a decade of losing to Ohio and under achieving has done to me.

BUT they lost 2 of their 3 goalies in eight days and are down to a single true freshman. They're probably not a top 20ish team anymore

They have 8 wins, but only UMD is a quality win. The other 7 have come against Robert Morris (RPI-54), Canisius (RPI-47), Niagara (RPI-53), and Bowling Green.
Yost will spontaneously combust if this Ohio State team, with a freshman walk-on goalie comes to Ann Arbor and beats us. It's not going to happen.

When Hunwick was thrown into the fire he had five NHL draft picks on his blueline. We had enough talent on that team to skate with anyone.
Ohio State isn't talented enough to beat us with their starter, let alone their 3rd goalie.

for the current students to mercilessly harrass whichever buckeye netminder shows up in the traditional and appropriate manner

There will be a fair amount of students, although we'll all be spread out. We will crush his soul.

Holy smokes, I seriously hope not. They seriously suck all the energy out of the whole building. Would it kill them to play faster than a sloth? I would have preferred to just not have a band at all as an alternative for the U Mass game
Just texted my friend in the pep band and they said it's not going to be the normal band, so my guess is it's going to be the alumni... And there aren't going to be enough students to ignore it part of the time.

Great Point, excited for Hockey.
It's Ohio State btw... can we be done with trying to talk like him?

Oregon St.
Oklahoma St.
...but only ONE OSU in my eyes.
Ohio is the Bobcats, so that doesn't work.
I do the same for Sparty.
Mississippi St.
Missouri St.
...but only ONE MSU in my eyes.
I never call either anything else unless it's their mascot.

Stinky seats for football are $79 and comparative stink endzone seats at Yost start at $100... Been watching both for about 25 years and have never seen that for the Ohio game.

awesome sight for me as an ex hockey player. I love to see the hockey team with a higher stock than the football team.

Ya that is the most I've ever spent on hockey tickets and I went to cincy to see them win it all and St Louis a few years back.
Paid 85 after Stub Hub's fees and crap.

I've been looking to go all week, but haven't had any luck.
Trying to complete the MBB, MIH, FB trifecta!
