A guy I work with will be in Section 118. He bought his tickets like a week ago for $150 each for session 2 and 3.
I'm buying 4 tickets for Friday and 4 for Sunday @ $125/ea which is pretty cheap considering the row and section they're in. Should be picking them up within the hour and reposting to Craigslist ASAP to make my money back....unless others here want to purchase some from me.

BEAT OHIO!! The bobcats are going down.

I was really hoping it would not be a day game.

DAMN YOU TNT! WHY IS THERE ALWAYS A SCHEDULING CONFLICT WITH MICHIGAN HOCKEY AND MICHIGAN BASKETBALL!!?!?!
Edit: I just realized that the hockey playoff semifinal game could be at 4:35 since it's a 2v11 game. Hopefully that's the case, and Michigan can sweep all schools (primarily) from the MAC on Friday and Saturday in both sports.

Took Thursday through Sunday off, should be a good weekend. Go Blue. Beat Ohio.

Ian Eagle doing the game. He's a good broadcaster

A reminder, if you don't have cable, you can still watch the game online (or go to a bar)
This is the MgoBlog thread on watching March Madness online without having to pay the 4 dollar fee: http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/promo-free-march-madness-streaming

So excieted for the toruney this year. Hope this team can cap off a great season with a Sweet 16 appearance. If their on, like really on, given the teams in the bracket, UM could make a run for the final four!

Spelling:
- Excited
- Tourney
Grammar:
- "I am" to start the first sentence; "I" to start the second sentence
- "They're" instead of "Their"
- Eliminate "like really on" or revise so you don't have a four-fragment sentence

Only downfall to the time slot, is it looks like my time at $1 beer night is getting cut short.

I'm going to be on a plane during both the round of 64 and 32 games. What terrible luck. Why do you hate hate me NCAA?
March 11th, 2012 at 11:04 PM ^
EDIT: used CBS schedule instead, includes announcers
Other game times of note:
(according to http://www.cbssports.com/collegebasketball/blog/eye-on-college-basketba…)
Round 1 winner vs. Temple: 9:50 Friday
MSU vs. LIUB: 9:20 Friday
Loyola MD vs. Ohio (YTO): 9:50 Thursday
Detroit vs. Kansas: 9:57 Friday
(Still want to knock those Buckeyes too!)
this to be a Raftery call.
EDIT: Nevermind, who the hell Jim Spanarkel?
March 12th, 2012 at 10:51 AM ^
Usually him and Ian Eagle get paired up for tourney games wherever a #1 seed is not playing. They're probably happy to not be doing any games in Provo or Boise this time around. Looking over the Nashville schedule, I'm not surprised that's who we got. If we didn't have a rooting interest in that location, I doubt I'd watch any of those other games.
Sorta related question. Is this the first non-Gus Johnson tournament in years? He was born for March Madness.
March 12th, 2012 at 10:57 AM ^
He took an A-Rod type contract from Fox last year. This is the first tourney without him. You have Jim Nantz to thank. I believe Gus wanted the Final Four crew and got tired of waiting. Something tells me he will eventually be back and will be calling the Final Four at some point.
"Michigan lives and dies by the 3 da derpee derp, Ohio is 13th in the country in 3pt defense tum te taly da derpee derp DUM." "13th in the country in 3pt defense"? IN THE FREAKING MAC, MORON!
So is there a chance CBS will carry the game locally?
I will be at my parents and they live in the stone ages w/o cable. Hopefully the internet connection is adequate to stream the game if need be.
March 12th, 2012 at 10:45 AM ^
CBS, TBS, TNT and TruTV will share coverage. Each game gets slotted to a specific time/network and will stay on that network. Now if the game is close near the end, CBS may cut away to the final 30 seconds or so, but that would be about it or the infamous "Whiparound" coverage.
I had to stream the Tennessee game last year and it was pretty good. I even hooked my computer up the television and it was like watching a standard TV feed.
March 12th, 2012 at 12:02 PM ^
There is almost no chance of it being local unless it's the end of the game. :(
You can watch online, but you do have to pay a 4 dollar one-time fee. That is, unless you text a # and get a code to watch it for free. Posted link above
What time would a COMPLETELY HYPOTHETICAL game between, oh I don't know...Michigan and Temple be on Sunday?
March 12th, 2012 at 12:09 PM ^
Damn. I have military ball then... Good thing my date is a cheerleader and wants to watch it as bad as I do though! Now i get to live-stream it on my phone. Yay technology!
Military Ball? Would that be the Army - Navy game?
March 12th, 2012 at 12:35 PM ^
couldn't have a pick a better time to start...further recognition of what a prime-time attraction UM is
March 12th, 2012 at 12:54 PM ^
Section 107 Row KK seats 20-23 (Basically right at Section 106 which is closer towards the center of the court (straight ahead will be inside the paint).
If anyone is interested I would sell 2 maybe 3 for each session. I'm going to sell them anyway but would rather sell them to Michigan fans first over a random fan and take my chances sitting next to them.
