At least we can take some small solace in the eleven warriors game thread.  I liked this comment:  "Holy sh-t...we are playing like five retards trying to f-ck the same doorknob right now."

MSU was shot out of a cannon at the tip. They expended a ton of energy building that lead, but OSU is clawing back despite the hostile crowd. I expect this game to turn just as PSU came back on us. The difference is that OSU has the talent to win it.

Well there is a whole half to play. Matta is no Beilein but he is still a decent coach. Still time for the proxies to make a run. Single digits is a big psychological boost. Hoping for the best.

except for recruting talent, enlighten me on how matta is a decent coach.  is it the complex offense or the good help-defense scheme?  because i've never seen any of that out of a team of his.

keep state out of the paint and you beat them.  he can't even coach his better talent to do that on D.

Matta was very successful at Xavier, when he did not have the same institutional advantages. He's not a Beilein but his teams are pretty solid at both ends.  His problem now is more with team chemistry being off for some reason.

damn the nuts with a 18-5 advantage on the road at the Line. never thought I would see that in the big ten. Both teams are being rather physical to be honest. Not having Dawson is going to hurt msu at some point in the 2nd half.

Draymond Green with a technical. Haha, what a leader. OSU can't play much worse than they did in the first half, so I am feeling good about this.
