BEAT BAMA! For MGoBloggers Going Through Hard Times
This post is for MGoBloggers who are going through a rough patch like I am. Unfortunately, August 2012 has been a horrific month for my family and I. Details are probably unnecessary; suffice it to say, it involves an incredibly serious health issue in my family.
This post is meant to personally explain how a Michigan win tomorrow, however unlikely that is, could lift my spirits even for a short moment, a type of moment which I have not felt during for what seems like an eternity. The month has been filled with rollercoaster emotional swings and completely confusing, life-altering decisions. A Michigan win would help put my mind at ease, even if for a fleeting moment.
This post may not be board worthy. But I wanted fellow MGoBloggers who are experiencing difficult times in their lives to understand that they aren't alone, even if we're just connected by our fandom and computers.
GO BLUE! BEAT BAMA! And God Bless.

has been a bumpy ride for my family as well. A win against BAMA would not erase that but it certainly won't hurt!
Here's to hoping that you can get through your struggles and that Team 133 can give us a gift on Saturday night!

my friend. No matter what always keep the faith and hope even in dire situations. The connection between the mind and body is still a bit of a mystery - fight on no matter what the odds.
And in the end if you go down - you go down swingin'.
Go Blue!

Hang tough, hang in there, and keep plugging away. Somedays can be bleaker than others, but there is always some sunshine in the future. I will say a prayer for you and your family.

Last fall during OSU week, Mgouser Bodogblog posted a story about the 1995 Michigan - OSU game, about how he was going through a bit of a rough patch, and how Biakabatuka's performance in that game helped put the wind at his back. I'll never forget that post, as I was going through a particularly hard time last fall around the time of the Ohio State game.
Sometimes a game is just a game. But that Michigan - Ohio State game last fall signified a heck of a lot more than a game to me. Hope Michigan can put the wind at your back this season, as they did last fall for me.

and now were moving back. i was 9 when we moved, so everythings a lot different than what it used to be. on top of that we sent my brother out to college on wednesday and my mom has experienced some health problems this summer. so its been a roller coaster ride this whole time but were finally getting settled in. this game would mean so much to me if it were a win, because this is the first time i get to watch a michigan football game live on tv since the 2007 rose bowl. hope all is well with you guys too.

Thanks for the transparency and GO BLUE! It will be refreshing to say the least, to see the boys come running out onto that field.

I think this is a program that we can all be proud of.
I hope things get better for you. My advice is to think of Denard's smile at least once an hour.

I discovered I'm allergic to fire ants last Saturday. I was weeding in the back yard and put my hand in a fire ant mound. Shortly after, my heart started racing, I lost consciousness, fell and broke my nose, left cheek, and lower jaw bone. Surgery is Tuesday to repair the jaw. Luckily the swelling went down and I have a ton of pain killers and will be at the game with my family.

rocky and nothing can ever replace him but I'm sure he'd love to watch this game tonight and despite being a Buckeye fan he'd cheer for Michigan. I always love the fall though not because of the football season although it is a major part of it but the feeling of cool mild air and gorgeous 60 to 70 degree days. Here's to a great game tomorrow.

I deal with Rich Rod comments daily here in SEC country and it won't stop. I must say I was lucky this year, and hope all of us are smiling tomorrow!

I won't divulge much, but I'll say this:
Each year, I send my friends a compilation album of my favorite songs discovered during the past year. Usually, the title is one of hope and reflection. However, I've already decided on a title for this year's:
2012, Fuck You.
...I'm right along there with ya, pal. Go Blue.

Thanks for the kind words. It feels impossible at times but as a family we have to fight through it.
I'll keep the picture of Denard smiling in my mind. That was awesome advice.
