BCS/Bowl Game Selection Shows Open Thread

Submitted by M-Wolverine on

It's early, but not sure when the site is going to be up or not, so while there's a window, I'm getting it in. If the hits crash it, could be a really short open thread.  But discuss the Michigan Bowl (which will probably be known for sure before the show...if it's not already), and any othre bowl games on ESPN's coverage tonight, starting about an hour away.  (By then the 504 errors will hopefully be done).

At this point it's all a self-fulfilling prophecy, really.  The voters think the SEC is the best conference, so when they look at resumes, they see all these SEC teams that SEC teams beat, and they think - oh look, that must mean the SEC team is better than the Big 12 team.  Then the SEC plays in the championship game to validate the voters.  The only way to break this cycle is for the SEC to lose in the championship game to someone else - repeatedly.

(That or playoffs, but I don't want playoffs.)

Might like Stanford and the points. Going to be hard for Okie State to get up when they think they should be playing somewhere else.

I feel like Oregon is going to lay the smackdown on Wisconsin. After watching MSU waltz up and down the field on Wisconsin, I don't like Wisky's chances in that game
