to have other coaches remind him of what an amazing guy I am, and how much of that amazingness I owe to being a Michigan fan.  The obvious implication being, of course, that his own amazingness would surpass mine exponentially were he to play for Michigan.

It's been a few years since I taught and coached at St. Chris, but I still have some connections.  I'm sure the NCAA won't mind if I send his dad a bunch of money as seed money to start a church, contingent on his signing with Michigan, provided I send the money to my friends at the school so that they (non Michigan fans) take care of the handoff, the winking, etc.  And it wouldn't be creepy, either.
