BBall Recruiting - where we stand now that Brundidge is in the fold
There is a nice article at umhoops on where basketball recruiting stands with the commitment this week of Carlton Brundidge.
We basically are set at guards, and have a very plausible opportunity to land (and make room for!) both Prather and Zeigler in 2010. Prather supposedly has the higher upside, and is very interested in Michigan because of Beilein's reputation for player skill development. If we get EITHER Prather or Zeigler on the wing, the 2010 recruiting class will likely be ranked in the top 10. There is a slim chance we can land both. For the class of 2011, the focus is on big men. Things do indeed look very bright!
Edit: I didn't think we had room for both Prather & Zeigler in 2010. However, in the comments of the umhoops article, Dylan, their mod, thinks that while Michigan is unlikely to land both, it is possible and is worth doing, given their skill level.
