The thing that stands out about this team to me is that they seem to all love playing together. When someone makes a good play everyone gets excited. That's not the case with a lot of teams unfortunately. Jealousy and personal pride usually show up but not with this team.

Tough to compare. We had mature Burke and Hardaway with freshmen Stauskas, Glen, Spike, and LeVert. Lost the former, but the latter are now better and more mature. Now, if only Burke and/or Hardaway stayed...we would not lose a game.

They may be better. They surely are more balanced. Last year players games were elevated because Burke was so good that it put all the attention on him. But the offense only ran on his lead. Now it is carried by all of them and Walton is making the others better by doing what a pt guard needs to do.

This just goes to show that you can't take a night off against any team in this conference. I'm confident we'll come out with the W, but Purdue is making us earn it, for sure.

Oh well. Any win in this conference is a good win in my book.
