Hey on the bright side, I dont think we have to worry about anyone leaving for the NBA this year, so we'll have the whole team back next year. Also Harbaugh.

I LeVert is an excellent second option type player, but any team that depends on him as the superstar isn't going to be very competitive. He just isn't that type of player and this team is forcing him into that role.

Not going to blame a freshman for all our ills but with all the losses to the NBA you need Kam Chatman to step up and be 80% of Russell from OSU, Blackmon at Indiana, or Melo at Maryland.  He had 0 points today.  And has been a sub 45% shooter I think every game in his career.  That doesn't excuse the subpar play of Irvin (I think Caris is getting a lot of unfair heat - today was a poor game but in general he has been doing a ton) but when you lose that much talent you do count on freshman.  We have zero impact freshman.

Meanwhile Russell is averaging 18.0, Blackmon 19.2 and Melo 15.8.  All those guys were ranked in the same 10ish spots as Kam.

The 5 is the toughest position to plug an freshman and have him be successful. Out only 5 who has played the position before is 6'7". Once we get a good interior threat, everything else will fall into place. Give em time. We'll be fine.

Of note, this will now be the third game in a row where our PPP has not exceeded 1.00....

For Michigan:

eFG% - 38.89%

OREB% - 19.51%

FTR - 25.93%

TOV% - 18.88%

For SMU:

eFG% - 50.00%

OREB% - 36.67%

FTR - 38.00%

TOV% - 25.52%

Interestingly, SMU's PPP was 0.93 - this is the second game in the last three where neither team has exceeded 1.00 here.
