Basketball recruiting

One of my closest friends cousin plays on the Grand Ledge varsity with him & I basically told me its a done deal as far as his commitment to Michigan. There isn't any sway and is just playing out his high school season not thinking to much about anything else right now. I have known my friends cousin since he was born and he is a solid kid with no reason to give me any BS so it gives me some comfort and a smile.

Jon Horford isn't 6'9" as is stated however but I really don't think its a big deal as he will be. (I am 6'8" & he was shorter than me when I saw him last but not by much) They did the same thing with his brother when he was a senior by listing him a couple inches taller than he was and he grew a hell of a lot between his senior year and as a freshman in college. Obviously they do that all the time though as I am sure many of you know. His dad is a legit 7 footer with a solid frame & I expect him to fill out just like his brother did. I am optimistic in his game as well. I played him in some pick up games a couple of times about 9 months ago & he was a lot better than the year before, & I saw him play just recently & I can tell you the jump is almost twice as the year before. I played many pick up games with his brother as a junior & senior up at Aim High & his game went from very average to college ready in less than 12 months. But working your ass off and having a natural frame to add weight to as well really helps. I think his commitment could be huge if he has the same potential if not more than Al as is expected.

Ok, my high school played Horford's team the first game. We beat them in OT but the story of what he did was sweet. He dunk over our 6'7" center and 6'5" PF in the same play. I didn't see it, but the stories about it at school the next day were legendary.

I can't even change a light-bulb in my house thanks to these damn high ceilings. I hate all you freaky giants! (unless of course this size anomaly benefits the UM basketball team, in which case keep growing as much as you desire)

Eddie Bauer online is a tall man's best friend.

EB's prices are starting to get outrageous though. I did find that Old Navy carries jeans with 36L inseam online. They fit most of the time. I don't quite understand why you can order the same inseam in different cuts and one will be a couple of inches longer.

Man you're bringing back memories of my high school AAU days with that comment. I haven't been to AIM high in like 4 years. It's still the most ironic name for a basketball facility ever.
