Daily included an update on Kevin Krantz in their weekend write up. Doesn't sound like he'll be back this season:
Maloney said he will be re-evaluated in about three and a half weeks, but as of now, it does not look good for the Traverse City native’s return.
Krantz is our primary backup for the middle infield right now (depending on how you view Mike Kittle) and was one of the three that tried to cover the outfield for LaMarre during his injury. While it'd be nice to have him for depth, Michigan should be okay without him. Stephens and Kittle have provided most of the pinch hit depth, as well as our outfield depth.
