So you should know that when you're referring to a discrete measurable quantity, you say things like "fewer" or "how many". Otherwise you use "less" and "how much." 

For example, "how much time" vs "how many minutes"; and "fewer cars" vs. "less traffic", or "fewer ACL injuries" and "less damage to the ACL."

I live about 3 miles from where the Mets have Spring Training so I will have to give him a go blue! I think the Mets owner is a Michigan grad.
