Barwis Question
I love everything about the guy. This is a simple question. Where has he been? When they 1st came in he seemed to be everywhere, but I haven't heard anything from him since the Freep allegations last fall other than his workouts with Brock. I can see this guy just seething about all this crap that people say about this team considering the standard he holds himself to. I wonder if RR has put him on a media blackout so no one gets killed. I need a countdown to kickoff with Mike.
PS I couldn't find the Barwis pregame speech on youtube if anyone has it please post I need it for my pregame

a couple of years ago at the strength/conditioning clinic. I asked him what he thought of the talent here vs. what he had at WV. He said that at the moment he'd take the WV players because they'd been through so much training already, but that the players at Michigan were a different breed of athlete than what they'd had there.
Besides that, he was awesome, I can completely see why recruits always talk about him.

oven whole deer carcasses......that he killed with his bear hands.

I doubt he really has bear hands. Can't clean and jerk without opposable thumbs.
But, I like the picture I'm seeing in my mind and it would make a good MS Paint. SHREDDER?

The Family Guy skit on this is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Might just be the Con Law nerd in me, but it's funny.

HAHAHA that is easily one of the funniest things ever. Perfect picture for this. I almost cried from laughing so hard...

clean and jerk without opposable thumbs! It might get a little dicey at times, and I wouldn't recommend doing it for a max, but as long as you're doing a good job getting your elbows forward on the clean and you don't have flimsy wrists you should be fine.

It was the first Barwis-type lift that came to my head. And I didn't think through the actual hand positions.

If you're going to reference the clean and jerk, it is also mandatory that you discuss its all-too-ambiguous equivalent, the 60-kilogram snatch.

way of referring to Lisa Lampanelli.

After an extremely long day, the bear hands comment is exactly what I needed.

is quietly doing his job like he's supposed to. I'd keep RR just for Barwis.

Barwis needs to be the spokesman for dos equis, because clearly he is the most interesting man in the world.

But unfortunately he kept smashing the beer bottles with his hands.

Barwis radiates so much strength training knowledge that the sun has to wear Barwis Screen (SPF Wolf).
I also heard he has a doctorate from STFU with a concentration in Supreme Athlete Engineering.

building second levels to both endzones. With his bare hands. They'll be finished by Monday.

My personal favorite Barwis sighting is in the MGoBlog hype video. At right around 0:15 he's shown by Richrod with a "I'm watching you, and I know something you don't" look. (I think this is him, could be wrong)

Yeah that's him. What a fitting song

If you need some Barwis porn, read the testimonials on his website, now featuring Brandon Graham and Zolton (no last name needed): http://www.barwismethods.com/testimonials.html
I thought the number of hockey players he is training was the most interesting thing (including "on ice" workouts).

"BM" is a really unfortunate logo.

In Barwis we trust!

I like Barwis, he clearly is one of the best S/C around. My only gripe is Barwis' sideline antics, I have found his behavior embarrassing in the past, he needs to keep his composure

I would occasionally look at their pages and I remember seeing a few status that said something along the lines of "can't move" after workouts (I believe it was will campbell would always say something like that). I also remember kenny demens status being "There is no workout like a Barwis workout!"
So yea I'm not worried about barwis. I think he's doing some solid work
