Barwis Question

Submitted by Ziff72 on

I love everything about the guy.  This is a simple question.   Where has he been?  When they 1st came in he seemed to be everywhere, but I haven't heard anything from him since the Freep allegations last fall other than his workouts with Brock.   I can see this guy just seething about all this crap that people say about this team considering the standard he holds himself to.   I wonder if RR has put him on a media blackout so no one gets killed.  I need a countdown to kickoff with Mike.

PS I couldn't find the Barwis pregame speech on youtube if anyone has it please post I need it for my pregame

a couple of years ago at the strength/conditioning clinic.  I asked him what he thought of the talent here vs. what he had at WV.  He said that at the moment he'd take the WV players because they'd been through so much training already, but that the players at Michigan were a different breed of athlete than what they'd had there.

Besides that, he was awesome, I can completely see why recruits always talk about him.

clean and jerk without opposable thumbs!  It might get a little dicey at times, and I wouldn't recommend doing it for a max, but as long as you're doing a good job getting your elbows forward on the clean and you don't have flimsy wrists you should be fine.

Barwis radiates so much strength training knowledge that the sun has to wear Barwis Screen (SPF Wolf).

I also heard he has a doctorate from STFU with a concentration in Supreme Athlete Engineering.

I like Barwis, he clearly is one of the best S/C around. My only gripe is Barwis' sideline antics, I have found his behavior embarrassing in the past, he needs to keep his composure

I would occasionally look at their pages and I remember seeing a few status that said something along the lines of "can't move" after workouts (I believe it was will campbell would always say something like that).  I also remember kenny demens status being "There is no workout like a Barwis workout!"

So yea I'm not worried about barwis.  I think he's doing some solid work
