Barwis doing some work for Mets
“@BarwisMethods: Just landed in NYC to consult for Mets. Love the East Coast Cities. Fired up for a great day with an outstanding organization!”
Wilpon effect?
I know he is no longer a Michigan coach, but I know people are interested in following how he lands.

thanks for the update! IMO, Barwis will always be a cult hero to this University.

Being a baseball strength coach must be quite the easy gig.

They probably want to get their hitter and pitchers back to steroid strength without, you know, the steroids.

Not if you directly oversee the progress and health of Carlos Beltran's knees.

Actually baseball could be a perfect fit for Barwis and the whole fast twitch muscle stuff. Even trimming even 0.05s off a swing is huge.
Plus the "pre-hab" work for a grueling 162+ game season.

If it wasn't, there wouldn't have been a steroid scandal. Also. steroids wouldn't have affected the stats like they did.

Hey Pitchers, go run.

This one coach I had tried to put me on a weight training program, and I was all like, “You and your weights can go fuck off somewhere. I’m not lifting that shit. That shit is heavy. You tell me why I need strength training when I’m strong enough to throw a goddam 100 MPH pitch.

"Kenny Powers is a man. Kenny powers is an athlete. Kenny Powers is a lover. But the thing Kenny Powers is the most, is a goddamn champion."-my talking Kenny Powers bobblehead doll, five minutes ago
He also wanted me to let you know that: "You're fuckin' out!"

I don't mind being fucking out. I've got yachts on the reg.

he'll always have a place in my (and my wolves') heart.

"Lady, I'm not an athlete. I'm a professional baseball player."
Ex-MLB player and couchsurfer John Kruk, when told by a fan that an athlete shouldn't smoke.

They are in for a rude awakening.
I'd have paid top dollar to see Cecil Fielder do a Barwis workout. Hell, lets see if Prince will give it a try.

This will end entertainingly.

As a Mets fan... I'm excited. With the Mets injury woes, this can only get better. Maybe David Wright's HR numbers will go backto Shea Stadium days.
