Band cheer?

Submitted by The Shredder on
I got this band cheer in my head and I want to use it for my 08 college football game. I have had it in my head since the MSU game. It's the cheer on it seems like 3rd and shorts for our D. The band members pull their hands back and then extend their arms out and shake their hands. I believe there is a "go" in there. I am awful at describing this.. I am sorry. I know there is a few band members floating around the Mgomothership. I would love a WAV file. I tried ripping it from the the TV but the announcers are always talking.

What you're referring to is called Intimidation. Basically, the Athletic Dept. wanted a cheer of some sort going into 3rd downs. We already have Temptation for 4th downs, so Prof. Boerma thought "we'll call it...Intimidation!" Basically, the band plays a fanfare, then the students do the extending/shaking/hexing thing while yelling "whoa". It's a simple cheer, and the student section is getting into it.

but there probably aren't any audio files of Intimidation floating around. It was only introduced last year, and I'm pretty sure we didn't record it at our yearly recording session. So unless someone's recorded it at rehearsal, it's gonna be pretty tough/near impossible to find. Good luck though.

It's a cool cheer, I only wish the fanfare was about 5-10 seconds shorter. That would allow for the cheer and for a better amount of time to get the noise up to top level before the play.
