Bad news on Dorsey

This isn't looking good. The article doesn't mention any reasons why he isn't coming but it seems as though this is something he, and his coaches, have known from the beginning. Sorry for the dong punch

I don't want any top 20 prospects anyway. The stars are aligned against Coach Rod, it seems. I hope he can weather this storm and they make a movie about all the bullshit he has to deal with.

as it is "nonexistent." Of course Saint Lloyd Carr, Michigan's Godlike Head Coach in the good-old-days-before-Rich Rod-ruined-everything-ya-know, recruited Austin Panter as a JUCO transfer in 2006-07. If Dorsey goes to Plan B, a/k/a Fort Scott (KS) Community College, he couldn't be on the field as a transfer to Michigan until 2012, right?

Can you transfer out of a JUCO after just one year though? I think you have to play there for two years. I also got neg-banged to all hell when I reported this a couple of weeks ago according to a source of mine. Which I guess is acceptable given that Raback's info was positive and mine was negative.

If he isn't going to end up in AA in '10 because of M admission standards, then yes, he could spend one year at a JUCO and raise his grades to the desired level. If the problem is qualifing with the NCAA academic standards then he will have to spend two years and 'graduate' from a JUCO......I'm not sure what situation Dorsey is in.

Can't they just find someone else from his high school to take the SAT/ACT for him? I mean, if Memphis can orchestrate something like that, I'm sure Michigan can! /sarcasm - for those who couldn't tell Also, my life was much simpler and easier when I didn't track recruiting. I would just read a few newspaper articles and see who the coaches are getting fired up about either in the fall practices or during redshirt seasons, and would decide they were our best up-and-coming hopes for success. Now my emotions rise and fall with this kinda stuff. Damn.

Life seemed so much easier BB (Before blog). I turned the TV on for the opening game and I saw either developed backups ready to replace last year's seniors or stupid awesome freshman. Now I know way too much about them months in advance of their theoretical Big House debut and I stress about most all of them during the process...

truest statements I've read on MGoBlog. You invest so much interest into players before they even reach Michigan or hell, even before they sign their L.O.I. If true, sorry to hear but good luck to Dorsey next year and hope to see you at Michigan Winter Semester.

How about we just wait until this actually happens. Remember last year the daily threads about Turner? Lets pray, take a deep breath and wait.
