Bad day to be a home team in the Big10
Interesting note today: in the five Big 10 matchups, every home team lost (and four of the five were considered favorites):
-Purdue beat Michigan
-(16)OSU beat (11)PSU
-(21)Wisconsin beat Indiana (the only non-upset)
-Illinois beat Minnesota
-Northwestern beat (4)Iowa
Also, honorary Big 10 failure Notre Dame lost at home to Navy

I think this gives people some hope for next week - Wiscy barely beat Indiana, which was clearly down a bit after losing to Iowa last week. The offense will be able to move against Wiscy; the defense just needs to make some stops.

That's definitely the key to the next two games. Will we finally see some of the freshmen come in to replace guys that are dragging the D down (especially Mike Williams)?

The problem is that the freshmen are not better than the guys out there. I'm sure the coaches would bring out the young guys if they thought they gave the team a better chance to win.
