Back to the drawing board: Pro Combat Penn State

Submitted by lakeside on

The intrigue.

"I know, I know, we already designed some Pro Combat uniforms for Penn State," said head designer Christopher Polyblend. "But pressure has come down from on high to go back to the drawing board."

"We thought about bringing Penn State fully to the present day, but decided that the shock would be too great for the fans, and so we have brought the uniforms up to 1991 instead," said Polyblend.

There are SO many wrong ways they could've gone with this given the present state of affairs at College Station I do give them credit for not going for rhe cheap and innapropriate laugh.

The truly funny Pro Combat uni's for Penn State IMO woulld've looked like this.....

I would be intrigued to see if Bill O'Brien would portray Clu on the sideline here with these uniforms. Perhaps the halftime show will involve light cycles and, for one game, Beaver Stadium will simply be "The Grid". Interesting move, BHGP.

You laugh at those gloves while Dave Brandon gets ideas.   Hey Dave, at least get us sponsored by Red Baron or one of those do-it-yourself pizzas, why anyone would pay an extra $10 to get a pizza "delivered" is beyond me.  It takes the same amount of time, takes like rotten Indian food mixed with cardboard, and gets delivered by an unwashed Ohio State PhD candidate.  Delivery pizza is a giant scam.

"The new uniforms feature several never-before-seen features, such as a computerized heads-up display, hologram-based wrist playbook, and sweat-powered electro-luminescent striping"

I know it's supposed to be a joke...yet somehow I could see Nike using such features on the Oregon Duck uniforms in the not-too-distant future.
