Baalke statement....

Submitted by Rescue_Dawn on

"Baalke did confirm that the University of Michigan has approached the 49ers about hiring Harbaugh to fill their vacant coaching position. Multiple reports last week stated that Michigan, Harbaugh's alma mater, is offering him a six-year, $48 million deal."

This is my favorite part HAIL HACKETT!

""I think the University of Michigan, in reaching out, did handle it correctly," Baalke said. "As I look at it, guys, it's very simple: He's the head football coach of the San Francisco 49ers."

Did anyone else catch this from Tim Troll's Twitter account?

Tim Kawakami

Didn't begin with "any chance..." So I'll answer: I go where Harbaugh goes. He knows this. RT @AndrewSilva253 will you be back next season?

I hope he likes AA. Looks like we''ll be hearing more from this hack in the future.

Tim Kawakami - by virtue of his existence - provides some credence to the idea that Drew Sharp is a condition that can be diagnosed and, perhaps in time, treated. Only time will tell in such a case, but at least we now know that it is something that can occur in other media markets (that means that there is the potential for Drew Sharp to be communicable, of course).

1.) Harbaugh, 2.) Miles, 3.) Stoops, 4.) Mullen and then 5.) Mora. I guess Mora would be better then some plan C or D offers. God, I hope Harbaugh agree to be our coach!

I want Harbaugh like the rest of you.  No question the best candidate, great football coach and most likely to turn us around in short order. Lived in the same house as he did in South Quad freshmen year. Had a good friend who was an offensive starter with him on football team in 1986. Live in San Diego and closely followed his career as a Charger and as USD's football coach.  Truly JH is a strange bird. One of those guys like Larry Brown, Bobby Ross, etc. that by 5 years he hates everyone he works with and they hate him.  He will be gone by year 5, but I am very much looking forward to a nice 4-5 year war with Urban.  I think he takes the job New Years Eve.

"Harbaugh had no word on whether outside linebacker Aldon Smith's head injury Saturday has resulted in any concussion-like symptoms since then. Smith got injured in the fourth quarter Saturday." Are all of the pseudo doctors present during the Shane Morris incident ok with this? Because back then HokeBrandon "IDIOTS FOR NOT KNOWING!" or "LIARS KNEW HE CONCUZSED IMMEDIATELY!" It appears an NFL head coach is unclear on whether a head injury to one of his players has resulted in a concussion or even any symptoms. 2 days after the injury.

I cannot argue that point. Jim Harbaugh is the coach of the "49ers" until he is "NOT" the coach. I Give it a week or less and Harbaugh will be the coach of the Michigan Wolverines.

It's Happening!

Go Blue!

I seemed to get stuck some certain words Jim stating that he will enjoy this last week with the players, coaches, staff  and the NEW opportunity next week, I am sure I was reading alot into this, but when he mentioned a new opportunity next week. All I could read into this is MICHIGAN WOLVERINES I am sure I am blinded a little on this take, but saying that there will be a new opportunity next week really opened my eyes.

What we do know is that he cannot be approached until after the end ot the NFL season, does this end on the 28th or is there a Monday night game on the 29th? We know about the Rooney Rule. Stephen Ross will not pursue Harbaugh. It has been stated recently that his wife does not mind the move to Ann Arbor. He loves Michigan. He has a competitive nature, coaching up the Ann Arbor Players is very competitive. The tipping scale is that he loves the University of Michigan. Lots of $$$$$ doesn't hurt.

He is headed home to Ann Arbor!

GO BLUE!!!!!
