B1G Tournament Discussion

Submitted by Willhouse on

I did not notice a thread for this already. If there is one, please delete.

I think the tournmant is as wide-open as it has ever been. All of the top 4-5 teams have seemed very formidable for long stretches of the season, and any of them have a great shot at winning the whole thing.

I see a semifinal matchup of OSU vs Michigan and MSU vs Indiana, with OSU beating Indiana for the title and DaShaun Thomas winning the Tournament MVP.

It pains me to say that, but I feel like they are the most complete team at this point.

I'd like to see Michigan beat OSU, but I just don't see that happening on a neutral court. Everyone is well aware of our struggles away from Ann Arbor, and I think we play them tough, but I just see some sort of Evan Turner-ish shenanigans happening at the very end to steal a victory from us. Even so, i think we end up with a 3-seed in the Big Dance.

I think MSU plays well, but they miss Brandon Dawson too much against IU and eventually fall.

Thoughts?

EDIT: Changed the title so as to not confuse those that thought this was a gameday thread.

Not gonna lie, I've only posted Kate Upton 2 other times.  Once yesterday in the McCray Hello post, and once in the post-Ohio Victory/awesomeness posbang (although, it might be worth noting that I posted that in a collection of images  found when searching "posbang" on google images).

(fixed out of boredom/ gleaning though old posts)

Okay, so we are not allowed to talk about the tournament unless it starts? Didn't realize the rules. Delete the thread. And someone else can create a new one tomorrow.

Are way overblown at this point.

We finished 8-7 outside Crisler.  By comparison:

MSU: 7-6

OSU: 7-4

Wisconsin: 9-4 (strange year for them losing 4 at home)

Indiana: 6-6

Purdue: 7-7

True, I agree to a point. But our struggles against good competition on the road can not be denied.

Losses at OSU, at Indy, at MSU, at Arkansas, at Virginia, vs Duke...also at Iowa, who are somewhere between terrible and not good.

We only lost one game at home.

Thanks for noticing.  Not that this was the most humorous/insightful post of the day, but I think all of my posts have been labeled as "0" or "-1" so far...yet the mods don't mind countless repetitive Berk Edwards, Roundtree Tweet, etc. threads/comments.

I guess this is why I never posted here.

Almost like it's personal though.  There is a lot of garbage posted by the people with the points that is deemed relevant.  Maybe I should start yet another Berk Edwards thread to fit in.  Oh wait, I can't.  Only the trusted folks with points can post quality material like that.
