B1G still possible Posbang/Drinking Thread
What an exciting game!!! So, anyone enjoying a cold one? I'm drinking a Trogenator (it is lent after all). Let's enjoy! And beat Indiana!!!
I'm pretty sure that alot of us are already hammered.
That was a good timeout. The troops responded to it well.
had been drinking already quite a bit.. drunken rage came over me and i shut the game off.. got on my computer and put on the espn ticker just to keep tabs.. once it got close i came back to finish the game.
I did not want to witness another Penn State like moment this year..
Just to be safe, don't give it to him until November 12.
Man, that was intense. Wish I could have a beer to calm these nerves...
1. Anyone who doesn’t vote for Trey Burke as POY is fucking insane.
2. Not to be a buzzkill, but man this can be frustrating. I like this team, but why can’t we ever just put far less talented squads away? We just gave up 75 to Purdue. I think it’s fair to question Beilein’s ability to coach defense and mentally prepare his team for road play. That said, we're in a position to win a second straight Big Ten title, and let’s kick some ass this Sunday!
You can question every coach if you do that. Like how come IU cannot put away OSU at home and gets shut down. Crean can't coach offense and get his team ready to play?
I am frustrated with the defense also but I think it is less about scheme and more about effort at this point. We played some pretty good D vs. MSU (minus the rebounding thing). Tonight we could not stop a dribble drives.
Losing to a top-15 team at home is not the same as losing to the worst team in the conference after being up 15. Not one of the other elite teams in the Conference have played as poorly as we have on the road.
Then it should come as great comfort to you that we are finished with our road games for the season.
This was you less than 90 minutes ago:
Wow Burke sucks tonight. Throwing away the any consideration for POY.

Completely false. I never said that, and even if I had, at that point, he WAS throwing it away.
You're a real trip, man.
You're a real bitch, man.
Coming from you, that means a lot.
You're welcome.
Holy crap! I can't believe we came back and won that game.
Well, at one end at least. I'm sorry, but a number of times his man just easily drove by him, with almost no resistance.
I mean, I love Stauskas, but I think it would be really dishonest to say that he played well on the defensive side of the floor.
I'm still underaged...
I'm still drunk...
Games left to watch Trey Burke in a Michigan uniform: min 3, max 11.
Enjoy.
Number. And no.
Kind of like that question though. How many games does Michigan have left this year? I'd say eight.
My God. Beer me.
Fort Collins.
Had a few 90 Shilling drafts in Boulder the other night.
I'm glad that I didn't have the basketball open thread on my computer during the game. What a wild game. No drinking for me tonight, though.
I really wish I didn't have to be so negative and critical during the game, even when we're losing to inferior opponents. I need to find another way to relieve the tension and anxiety that I feel while watching them play, and I sincerely apologize to people here for getting a little out of hand at times. Very excited for this Sunday.
Gotta love sports, one moment you wanna drown Stauskas in a pool of his own forehead blood, the next, you're writing him love letters. GO BLUE, BEAT IU.
I'd say venting frustrations on a message board with people across the world is a much better way to ease your tensions than mannny other ways I could think of. Who gives a sh*t if some don't like the honest opinions, of which they are, and can't handle a guy whose passion for the school's athletics aren't always (ever!!) butterflies and rainbows.
Perfectly said.
True, but I hope I can express my frustrations in ways that don't demean the players and coaches of the team. I just can't stand to see Michigan lose. I guess that's the consequence of being related to Bob Ufer.
