B1G Football Sucks
Today sums it up. I can't do the mental gymnastics to defend it anymore. Barn burners with MAC teams all day. Nebraska needs a miracle against MCNEESE ST. and Purdue gets hammered by Central! Cap the night with Michigan's showing and Sparty getting blown out and OSU down 14 at half to VT. I just can't defend it anymore. If a B1G team ends up with the same record as another team trying to get into the playoff the B1G is left out and they deserve to be. Terrible, terrible football.

I hate making decisions on the basis on a single saturday, but honestly the only good showing was Michigan State (remember their on the road) and I'm honestly embarassed by the entirety of the league. The midwest just doesn't have the talent/speed as the rest of the country any more, and that was proven by the Notre Dame game today, as well as the Ohio State game.

Is there any team in the conf not named MSU that would lose by less than 50 in Eugene? Its a 1 team conference.

of how good of a conference B1G has been. In the last few years B1G has been head and shoulders above the rest of the conference. They're not only top heavy but has good depth from the top to the bottom in the last few years. Michigan, MSU, OSU, Wisconsin, and Indiana all have made the Sweet 16 or Elite 8 appearance.
Let's appreciate how good of a run Michigan basketball is currently in because what they had to go through the conference. 2 times B1G Champion, NC title appearance run and elite 8 run. They pumped out NBA draft picks like it's nothing.

Yeah there will zero candles held for this conference by the playoff committee, and why should there be? We can really only hope that the Big 12 shits the bed and can't put anyone up either. But who wants to get in that way? Fuuuck.
How many sacks did VT have on that poor Ohio SOB tonight? There were at least 4 in those last two drives. Ohio's Oline looks worst than Michigan's last year, AND I THOUGHT THAT WAS IMPOSSIBLE.
