B1G Championship Game student tickets

Submitted by Spirit of 69 on
Just received an email asking to put in a request for student tickets to the B1G Championship Game! Figured the board would find that interesting. Go Blue!

watching Ohio State wax Iowa in similar fashion as it did to Whisky last year. Expect something like 42-7 or 35-3, something along those lines. It will be a good chance to watch the best team in the country before it moves on to the playoffs. If you are willing to root for a Big10 team (OSU) during the playoffs you can even see what it feels like to win the big games.

Not outrageous at all! Not even a little bit. Im pretty sure OSU should handle sparty pretty handidly at home, and then they come here for a game that we always play them close in. I'd say we have a 25/75 chance at going to Indianapolis. Now where we go from there is much much murkier.

My friends and I have gone to the championship game every year so far...we had our seats upgraded this year to 100 level, row 11, which are apparently $300 seats ($95 face). I'm not selling just yet!

Just requested mine!!!

They're so cheap ($40) that even if you don't want to go you could make a profit. They'll just be very hard to get.

2,500 in total (student section is 18,000 ish).

Selection is based on student priority points. (your lowest game is dropped; each game you can get 6 points. 3 for going at all and 3 for arriving 30 min early, thus a season max of 36).

The Tiebreakers are:

  • Tiebreaker 1: based on consecutive years of purchasing student season tickets.
  • Tiebreaker 2: based on the number of games attended for the current season.
  • Tiebreaker 3: based on the time the request was made.
