Minnesota and Penn State are a combined 4-18 from three point land, so this in combination with the other games in the BTT so far make this possibly the day that no outside effs were given in the Big Ten. Stats? Eh, Penn State is shooting at a mind-boggling 33.87% effecitve FG percentage, which is much less impressive than Minnesota's "meh" 46.00% effective FG percentage.

A win would at least keep them there while a loss would put them out and keep them out. We all know how much those wins mean in our march to the 1 seed.

I think if Minnesota wins, then they would be in the tourney, FOR NOW. Arkansas lost and so did California. Dayton and Saint Joe's are playing tommorow and that could be an elmination game. So a win would put them in for now, and 2 wins would make them a lock.

Also, Iowa's RPI is at 46 so we need them to win today as well.

I'm getting the feeling that teams are struggling with the 3 point line in Indy. Hopefully our team doesn't share that problem or playing Illinois could get a lot harder.

This game is picking up a bit, but man has it been ugly.

If Northwestern manages to Northwestern ball Iowa, yikes.

It's been one offensive abomination after another - not a stirring advertisement for the conference.

I blame that misshapen mess at halfcourt.

This game is boring the hell out of Tirico and Dakich. I'm pretty sure Dakich is three beers deep already. He was just talking about how Richard Pitino leads with his face. Tirico: What else would he lead with?

I don't get it. Minnesota has been unable to score. They get a 3 on 1 and pull it out to run off a few more seconds in a one possession game. I would rather push it to two possessions than take another ten seconds off the clock or risk a turnover given how their offense has been doing.

I remember when some people were pissed off that we had Beilein as our coach instead of Steve Lavin. I told those people they were really dumb. Take that, those people.

Everyone keeps insisting they are solidly in. I think what helps them are some valuable wins. This also truly is a soft bubble which got even softer with teams like Arkansas blowing it all and bubble teams like Cal not getting the wins they needed.

If they lose, it is hard to believe they shouldn't be sweating, but there are a number of factors in their favor.

This has been mind-numbingly atrocious basketball in all four games, and the favorites have played like complete dogshit.

I hope we can break that trend and in a big way tomorrow.

Adam Woodbury acts like the ref just insulted his mother every time he's called for a foul.  It's not a very endearing quality.

Man, the way Dakich and everyone goes on and on and on about what Iowa, Michigan State, Ohio State should be or could be, the blue balls on these Big Ten announcers must be ridiculous.

You know, maybe this just is what these teams are.
