AZ QB Connor Brewer to Texas
According to Scout's Chad Simmons...
Was just told by Mrs Brewer that her son Connor Brewer has committed to the Texas Longhorns. Will be one of the top 2012 QBs.
Well...damn. He goes to Chaparral (HS of Craig Roh and Taylor Lewan) and is probably the most complete QB in the 2012 class. Being so close to him, Tom was a big fan of his, and hoped we'd pursue, a feeling he professed as recently as yesterday.
Thus begins likely another top 5 class for Texas. In case you're into torturing yourself, here are his highlights.

Well, don't be surprised when they don't have another losing season for 40 years because of those recruiting classes.

I don't see them winning more than 7 next year. What is improved next season for them? They still won't have a competent QB.

Our Lady of Good Counsel, Blake Countess's high school, is stacked for 2012, does anybody know whether we have contacted them or have much of a shot at them?

Other than perhaps HD, I don't think anyone is losing their grip over this. I think we all know that we'll get in on some good players.

his older sister is on the swim team at texas. Also, Harsin(new OC for texas, ex boise state OC) helped install the boise state offense at Chaparral HS and recruited brewer while at BSU.
