This came up in a thread and I thought I'd post it for everyone. My senior year at Michigan, I took History 265: History of the University of Michigan with Professors Nick and Margaret Steneck who have since retired. The class included a practicum tour outlining historical spots on campus with detailed descriptions, interesting facts and things to look for.
The tour is a lot of fun (don't be deterred by the the cold Ann Arbor weather!) and perfect to fill an off-season Saturday or even a date. =)
Enjoy, and let me know if any of you guys have done this or plan to. <3
