Avery Walls deciding today!
k guys so I'm pulling a Tom here, and just reminding everyone Avery Walls was supposed to be deciding today at his highschool at 9:40 (don't ask me when they decided on that time)
looks like it's between us and oregon, though most people say oregon has the upper hand.
go blue avery!

The key words in that statement are "I think"...

Thank you DB for not deciding on RR future...you really helped Walls decide that UM was not the place for him (sarcasm)!

Can we please stop bitching about David Brandon's timeline every damn time anything is mentioned ever?
He said it's happening. He's obviously going to stick to his word. Complaining about it on here isn't going to accomplish anything except showing that you're a sourpuss.
Good grief.
After he makes his "evaluation" or after National Signing Day, we can debate the effects of "The Timeline" all we want. But right now it's just useless.

Isn't bitching about other people bitching just contributing to the overall bitchiness that you're attempting to put an end to?
Deep thoughts....

But yet RR said in preseason that Gardner would play and he that's exactly what happened. Yet you complained about it for the first half of the season on these boards and your blog. Please tell me how this is any different.

I made exactly three posts on my blog tagged with Devin Gardner this season. One was on September 5, the day after he played against UConn. The second was on September 7, which revealed the results of a poll about Gardner burning his redshirt. The third was on September 26, the day after the BGSU game.
I don't really think that's overkill, but you're entitled to your opinion.

It's a 5 week window and it's not close to Signing Day. If it was really about the timetable for Avery Walls, do you not think that he would reconsider his decision if RR was retained? Or do you think the thought process of high school kids is "well I'm deciding today, December 14th, and if I don't know 100% that my coach will be here on the exact day I decide then they're off my list forever."
Look at Dee Hart. He wants RR here. If RR stays, he stays (probably). The timetable doesn't matter because it's not near Signing Day.
It's like people can't believe that recruits would pick somewhere besides Michigan. How blasphemous, recruits NEVER chose other schools before DB set that timetable on November 29, 2010.

Best of luck to Avery. Now let's hope we can land Countess, Lyons, Zettel, Bryant, Frost, and another LB like Darian Cooper or Lamar Dawson. And Snake Oil Sammy Watkins!

His conference records are average at best! Cal is slipping.

There is some pressure on Tedford, and if next year doesn't go well there might be a lot. But he's also 2 or 3 wins short of being the winningest coach of all time at Cal, which has earned him a lot more patience than you'd get at one of the powerhouses.
