Aundrey Walker Offered
HUMONGOUS (6' 5" 355) tackle Aundrey Walker has been offered a scholarship by the University of Michigan. He's a Glenville product who's offers are just starting to roll in. He has stated that he wants to go to the same school as a few of his 2011 teammates if possible. Michigan doesn't have much of a chance unless they somehow break the Glenville - OSU pipeline.

Hey, icefins26, keep up with the times... it ain't 2008 anymore

Hey -- I am all for social media and utilizing new ways to convey your thoughts/actions but still, it's a scholarship. I just didn't expect Facebook as a method to offer.

Key phrase: "I just didn't expect..."

So, how do you tell your IT people at work that you need your computer updated because, although it is 100% workable for your work needs, it can't keep up with MGoBlog and your obsession with Michigan football? Anyone?

Find the IT worker who is just as obsessed as you. Work in IT and visit the site regularly throughout the day.

A Glenville recruit will be hard to pull away from Ohio State, but a mammoth oline man who is described as being athletic would be great to get.

b. who are the other glenville prospects they talk about
February 5th, 2010 at 10:51 AM ^
Shane Wynn, Andre Sturdivant and Cardale Jones.

ATH Shane Wynn (OSU/UM offer), DE/LB Andre Sturdivant (no offer from either), and QB Cardale Jones (no offer from either).

For those more knowledgeable on recruiting than me...are there any good recruits that Michigan has been able to get our of Glenville in the past? Somebody that we beat OSU for?

Pierre Woods was the last, and that was before Ginn's falling out with Carr and before Robert Andrews was hired as Glenville's defensive coordinator.

I'm not sure which one is a bigger thorn in our side...

Glenville = OSU.
No chance. Fine to offer, but don't expect anything.

think we have a better chance getting a kid from glenville than we do from Renaissance, or southeastern, and I think that is sad
February 5th, 2010 at 11:32 AM ^
We got Pierre Woods from Glenville. Last kid I can really remember coming from Glenville.
February 5th, 2010 at 11:32 AM ^
Pierre Woods, wasn't he from Glennville?
I think that the coach there pretty much hates us a'la Woody Hayes style so our chances are slim just do to that.

Last Glenville guy we got. Ted Ginn Sr. is the coach, and he funnels all the guys to tOSU--which, by the way, only secured one OL commitment this year after Henderson and James picked SC and ND, so they are certain to go hard after this guy and lots of other OL guys next year.

Sounds familiar.

double post sorry

Interesting, but come on! RR needs to get his shit together and start going after the best 13 year old kids in the country and start getting his 2015 class lined up. I can't believe RR is wasting his time on this guy.

Hmmmmm...I can't seem to think of it... I think his name started with a "W"...
...Woo...
...no, that can't be it.
Uh...I'll get back to you guys later when I think of it. Maybe.

All streaks are meant to be broken. Go go snake oil. Maybe we can find Glenville's Adrian Witty to rope in a guy and get a trickle goin?

UM has also offered Glenville QB Cardale Jones.
