Auburn Site Claims Derrick Green Is An Auburn Lean

That apparently makes a great deal of sense to them right now. A day after he says Michigan is leading and Coach Hoke is his favorite coach, he then says he knows where he is going. If that doesn't sound like an Auburn lean, I don't know what does. They obviously are in the Garrison Keillor school of "looking reality straight in the eye and denying it".

There are a lot of shitty boards out there where posters put all this "inside information" and how much of it turns out to be true. This is one of the few sites where you better back up your claims with some credible sources.

You never really know what's going to happen in recruiting. That being said, in the complete absence of any corroborating information this looks like trolling for page clicks.

Ive never really believed Green is coming here and won't believe until he signs on the dotted line. It just seems like he is always looking for reasons not to go to Michigan.

Alabama wins with a great O line and a great RB year in and year out. They also put RB's in the NFL in the first round and alot of that is that O line. They are full at RB. Any thoughts on who has pulled in a huge O line haul the last 2 years that needs a RB and also will have a highly touted QB coming in. Green comes here and in 3 years he is a NFL 1st rounder.

I know this is how recruiting goes and I'm not trying to censor what people post etc.  But, the only information left to be heard for on this subject is who he commits to.  There is really nothing more I want to hear about Green.  We know he's interested, we know he's a good fit, we know he likes our coaches, we know we have a shot.  Anything other than him giving his verbal somewhere or signing his LOI is only frustrating at this point.

It's like watching a car crash.  No one wants to see the damage, but it's hard not to look when you know it's there.

I know I will be downvoted to Siberia for this, but lets learn from what happened with Garnett and not assume that Green is a lock just because he named Michigan as a slight leader...

I pretty sure that Garnett stated that Michigan had a slight lead all the way until the end, he even mentioned afterwards that he seriously thought that he would end up at Michigan, but wanted for his family to attend all his home games...  There was a minority who thought he would go to Stanford due to proximity, and better weather and academics.

Maybe the joke is on me, but you linked to a twitter feed  from "Eagle Damn War".

Seems to me that someone we know is just stirring the pot...

ugh let's please stop talking about green until he actually commits somewhere. until he does that, there really is nothing else to say about him. we'll have a great recruiting class with or without him.

We've seen quite a few recruits from all over the country who were very unlikely to choose Auburn suddenly change their mind for no real reason what so ever.  The bottom line is Auburn pays better (semi allegedly).

Yes, I want him to commit and turn out to be all-world.

It's just... watching his film, I was surprised he was considered the #1 RB.

To see if I was the only one, I googled Derrick Green Overrated, and what do you know... Magnus agrees with me on his site.

I talked a lot of shit about Magnus in the past, but I think his assessment of Green is spot on. Good call Mags.
