because they're already under investigation, and I can see the university itself being in criminal trouble.

OSU may get it, depding on when the NCAA begins an official investigation into Tressel and how wide ranging they make it.

MSU isn't going to get anything, because they're not currently under investigation, they are, by appearances, trying to clean up their act, and a couple of people saying, "I got money", isn't enough to open an investigation.
