Seriously, why would you turn away such a great football player.  I don't care if you won the national championship.

Kris, Michigan wants you in the Big House.

Come back home.

Maybe the Barners are getting full of themselves and wouldn't waste their time on a 50th ranker prospect, nationally.

Who cares?  They are the idiots for not taking the kid.  From all accounts he was one of the better defensive players during the practices at the all star game.

Sick'em hoke!! Sick'em!!

in auburns credit, at least they're not pulling a nick saban.  theyre being honest with frost saying that they dont have space for him, so that some poor guys down the road doesn't have to deal with a "medical" issue.

Frost wants to have a chance to play wide out. That is the reason he was a Michigan commit -- Rich Rod promised him a chance to play WR. My guess is that Auburn wanted him on defense, or not at all. IIRC we have already paid this kid a visit, so no plane tracking here. We'll have to convince him via phone, twitter, social media, mgoblog? FROST COME TO MICHIGAN!!!

Actually, at the Army All American Bowl he said that he was going to start out at WR at Auburn, then if not go to LB.

If I remember correctly, Michigan was primarily looking at him at LB, but would also look at him at WR. He likes WR more, but in my opinion he's a much better LB prospect.

watching this on the boards over on espn about frost. It seems like the story to them is he wanted to go to auburn and they were going to take him, but he decided he wanted to go to his dream school (michigan) instead. At that point they offered someone else. once RR was fired he went back knocking before the army AA game and said he was going to commit and they told him not to bother because there was not a spot for him. Whether that's the true story or not idk just passing it on. There was also a thread on there stating frost and his parents spoke with auburn and agreed to take a grayshirt in hopes someone fell through on NSD and he would have a spot. I can't see someone his caliber doing that but take it for what it's worth

he did an interview with a reporter before the game where he disclosed that he had called Auburn and told them he was coming. they were happy, etc. then he announces and auburn rivals mods go "ummm what?" and double check with sources/coaches. now, imo, there's absolutely zero reason he would have told a reporter that he called auburn coaches and told them his plans before he announced, under the obvious condition of not reporting it until after the game, if it was not the case.

somebody announced at the game that they weren't expecting, i believe, and they had allotted a scholarship between the two of them.

This is great news. I really like our chances. If Brady can put 1/2 the passion he showed in his presser into a phone call....this is a done deal.

We'll bring these wayward parts of the flock back home.

Little surprised that Frost even considered them, but hopefully now he'll see the light and come back to the fold.  Unless he looking forward to not being able to go to a bowl game his junior and senior years because of NCAA violations.

"Frost is apparently going to visit Auburn this weekend to meet with Gene Chizik and hopefully, for Tigers fans, things will be ironed out...But in the end I think the Tigers will find room for Frost, he will play outside linebacker and be a great one."

Not good for us, but Mike Farrel l does call Frost "an absolute stud". So, I guess that's good if we can reel him in.
