"Our league has done pretty well as far as recruiting goes as it is," Jacobs said to reporter Jon Solomon. "It seems to benefit some schools that may be in the past had a history of success and now don't so they're trying to grow their brand a little bit more."

Recruiting ranking wise? Or actual recruit wise? If we are being honest, our havent panned out very well. Rich Rod featured plenty of attrition and Hoke failed to develop, so in that sense, I'd give Auburn the edge. As far as rankings go, there's more data for that. Per 247.... 2007: Michigan- #8 Auburn- #10 2008: Michigan- #11 Auburn- #24 2009: Michigan- #12 Auburn- #23 2010: Michigan- #17 Auburn- #6 2011: Michigan- #26 Auburn- #5 2012: Michigan- #6 Auburn- #11 2013: Michigan- #4 Auburn- #13 2014: Michigan- #20 Auburn- #6 2015: Michigan- #38 Auburn- #9

My former boss was recruited by Auburn heavily and went on a recruiting visit there.   The stories are pretty wild.

Said he came home with a few thousand dollars in his pocket from playing slots at the casino.  That's right, his guide took him to an indian casino outside of campus, told him what slot machine to play and all he had to do was pull the lever.    This was in the mid 2000's.

Harbaugh is going to flat out try all he can to get top level recruits....regardless of where they are located.  And I will say this, if Harbaugh cannot get the stud athletes from the South, TX, or CA to come to Michigan, I don't think anyone can.

Harbaugh is ruffling everyone's feathers. At least in the SEC.

Good. It's about damn time someone did. And it's about damn time that Michigan regained this sort of "we're doing this, and we don't care if you like it or not" swagger.

SEC has no clue the can of worms they are opening. This topic of conversation can have a critical impact to the SEC.

It's not about Satellite camps anymore it's about recruiting overall now and what's best for the kids.

We all know that SEC football coaches struggle in that department! Get ready SEC....the flood gates are opening.

Be prepared to follow actual rules like the rest of the country.

First topic: no over signing.....awwwwww shit.

Last night, three Auburn student-athletes (two football players and a member of the track team) were arrested on multiple counts of theft and burglary. No comment from Jacobs yet.
