Athletic Dept charging for schedule posters
Guess how Beilein's contract extention is being funded...?
you got it.
Well I am not a fan of that. The free posters were great.
all the douches who grabbed up piles of them and flipped them on ebay...who cares...it's a freakin poster. I'd rather pay $10 to the athletic dept than $5 to some scum profiting off the free handouts...that shit irritates me.
Yeah yeah, we're all very proud that you saw this almost a week ago.
But some people don't read every comment on every thread (or they might not be able to see -1 comments), so this isn't a bad way to see that everyone sees
You're evidently not devoted.
Link to another post of yours that was proven wrong. You're on fire today.

Breaking: Athletic department now charging for air, claiming that the air inside Michigan stadium is part of the "Michigan game day atmosphere."
Goddammit we need posbangs back.
The site states that posters will be distributed at games and the AD office for free while supplies last (hopefully the supply is greater then 10). While the prices are high, there is some cost to putting posters into mail tubes and sending them out.
Actually they are free. Heres the post from the site.
Official sport schedule posters, produced by Michigan Athletics are available for purchase to all Wolverine fans. It is our goal to provide high quality sport posters to as many fans as possible.
The sport posters are also available free at home events and at the Michigan Athletic Ticket Office, while supplies last.
Posters purchased online are rolled and mailed in a tube. Football Fan Packs include 1 regular poster, 1 schedule card and 1 magnet.
Visit www.mgoblue.com/posters for additional information.

Most sport posters are also available for free at U-M home events and at the Michigan Athletic Ticket Office -- while supplies last. The Football 3-D poster is available for $10 at the ticket office.
The charging is probably for out of state people like me. My sister knew someone in the ticket office and managed to get a hockey poster sent my way every year (for free). Now anyone can do it, but for a small charge (probably to encourage people to still come pick them up in person).
AD charging for cool new 3D poster technology" but still giving traditional posters away for free
Thanks,
People who can read
Those of us that not in Ann Arbor have to pay $5 plus $3 for regular poster, $10 plus $3 for 3D.
They've always been only free in Ann Arbor. The only difference is that before you were SOL if you didn't know someone who could go pick one up and send it to you. Now you can order them online for a minimal fee.
I've been requesting them for my son from the athletic department for 4 years. They would mail them to me for free in Grand Rapids. I don't mind paying for them, just trying to set the record straight.
Am I the only one to notice it's a matte blue helmet with shiny wings? Is that going to be a thing from now on?
Grew up in NC, a childhood fan of the Blue Devils (still my bball fac, behind UM). Duke always charged for their team posters, I think it was $10 in the late 80s! They were always very cool photoshoots, with the bball team dressed like in the old west, or at the local science museum moon lande as if standing on the moon. They were super cool. Way better than the generic format has used for every single team poster. I always tout of them as a keepsake.

Many of the things people bitch about regarding the AD is warranted. This is a little ridiculous.
Especially when they're still free.
In other news, that new Rolling Stone cover sucks.
