Anyone, any where and any time.
November 26th, 2011 at 8:16 PM ^
Amen to that.
November 26th, 2011 at 7:40 PM ^
but neither would be bad. I want to play Virginia Tech but we'll likely end up playing Houston. I wouldn't mind playing Stanford either.
November 26th, 2011 at 10:23 PM ^
What about Hungry Bowl! Sooooo Hungry!
November 26th, 2011 at 7:40 PM ^
I want the winner of Bedlam in the Fiesta Bowl. Another month to grow and a chance to stick it to a national recognized (however grossly overrated) conference champion.
November 26th, 2011 at 7:40 PM ^
Va Tech, assuming they beat Clemson, would be a nice match up. Im nervous about Houston. Look what Miller did today. Could you imagine Keenum slinging it all over the place?
November 26th, 2011 at 7:43 PM ^
Not to discredit Miller, but how much of that was Bollman letting him unleash the dragon? Give Mattison a full complement of practices and look out.
November 26th, 2011 at 7:45 PM ^
It was Mattison letting him unleash the dragon. With the results we saw on those plays, there were more important things to worry about than preventing the ball from rolling around on the ground 10 yards in front of everyone after the play.
November 26th, 2011 at 9:22 PM ^
Can Keenum run and make tacklers miss like Miller? That was a big reason that Miller lit it up against us.
November 26th, 2011 at 10:21 PM ^
I'd be interested to see how their O line could stand up to our D though given since they haven't really played anyone this year. Also we would know their gameplan going in, unlike today where Ohio pulled that offense out of their desperate asses.
November 26th, 2011 at 7:41 PM ^
I'd say the Sugar vs. Houston, right where most pundits have us, would be a nice matchup.
November 26th, 2011 at 7:41 PM ^
i'd rather be in the sugar bowl, but I don't want us to play Houston, but if that is our matchup ok. I just want Wisconsin to win next week, and knock MSU to the cap one bowl.
November 26th, 2011 at 7:42 PM ^
We just beat Ohio! That is all.
November 26th, 2011 at 7:45 PM ^
I'm going if we're in the BCS, and it'll be cheaper for me to get to New Orleans than Phoenix. Soooo... Sugar Bowl.
November 26th, 2011 at 8:35 PM ^
I second that. I'd be able to attend the Sugar Bowl.
November 26th, 2011 at 7:45 PM ^
Just a 5 hour drive for me. Also won't be subjected to the judgy face from my gal if/when I am barfing up a few gallons of Hurricanes in the hotel.
As for opponent, I don't want to play Bama twice in a row (just takes some of the excitement out of it) and I don't think Ok. State or Houston would give us much street cred even if we win. I think Stanford is beatable, what they do on offense plays better into our hands, they were expected to be here after their season last year, and they have the big name QB everyone is in love with. And they have like 7 fans so tickets should be easy to come by.
November 26th, 2011 at 7:46 PM ^
Vs Arkansas or Houston. I think it'd be a great game either way
November 26th, 2011 at 7:47 PM ^
May be me being a 21 year old cocky bastard but i want SEC, face the best to get us going for next season. A month to prepare and get the reps to face the best teams in the nation would be a great thing for us. GO BLUE! BEAT OHIO! "WOOOOOOOOOOO"-Ric Flair
November 26th, 2011 at 7:52 PM ^
What better way to prepare for Alabama next year than to get a taste of SEC speed and strength during the bowl season. I think we matchup well against everyone but LSU...
November 26th, 2011 at 7:47 PM ^
Louisville would be a nice relaxing bowl win after today's stress.
November 26th, 2011 at 7:48 PM ^
against KSU wouldn't be a bad thing. Klein is a runner but he's no Miller.
November 26th, 2011 at 7:50 PM ^

Virginia Tech. We RARELY ever get a chance to play an ACC school, and VT has been the class of the ACC for a while. VT is good, with a QB like Miller (but more accurate), and a runner like Heron. They also have a good defense (great coach in Foster) who is used to seeing a mobile QB in practice. That being said, I think we would have a great shot at winning at a neutral site. I think the teams match up well and it would be a hoot.

I want to go to the Fiesta Bowl since I can go, because that one's on the 2nd (class starts on the 4th) but Sugar is on the 3rd. But I really want to see us play Georgia in the Sugar. I don't think they beat LSU, and I don't think we'd end up there if they did, but that'd be a really fun matchup.
November 27th, 2011 at 1:01 PM ^
Georgia will probably drop to below 14 with an LSU loss. We would probably jump them. Houston is fine by me. Stanford would allow more M fans to go.
I will go if its Sugar.

November 26th, 2011 at 7:54 PM ^
Right now, I DON'T CARE.
November 26th, 2011 at 7:55 PM ^
I want the Sugar, simply because it's the only BCS bowl we've never won (we're 0-1 there).
November 26th, 2011 at 7:56 PM ^
I want Va. Tech in the Fiesta Bowl, not sure why but I think that would be an exciting, winnable game.
November 26th, 2011 at 8:18 PM ^
ACC champ goes to the Orange, so we're most likely looking at either Stanford/Houston in the Sugar or Bedlam winner in the Fiesta.

Michigan vs Standford Sugar Bowl
November 26th, 2011 at 7:59 PM ^
I hope we play either VT or Houston in the sugar. its goona be great watchign MSU getting absolutely destroyed by arkansas in the cap 1 bowl and michigan winning (hopefully) a BCS bowl
November 26th, 2011 at 8:12 PM ^
Arkansas can't go to a BCS game. Pretty sure it's impossible.
November 26th, 2011 at 8:23 PM ^
capital 1 bowl isnt a bcs game
November 26th, 2011 at 8:02 PM ^
I think I'd prefer VT, but any BCS game would be great. Just wondering what are the order of the picks?
November 26th, 2011 at 8:33 PM ^
But a bowl that loses a conference champion to the national title game gets first shot to replace them.

sugar bowl vs. Houston please!!
November 26th, 2011 at 8:25 PM ^
I'd prefer the Fiesta Bowl since I live about 3 blocks from the stadium. MgoFiestatailgate?!
November 26th, 2011 at 8:27 PM ^
If they somehow win the SEC championship could they, bama, and LSU all go? I would really like to play Georgia because they are good yet beatable and would be a very validating win for our season
November 26th, 2011 at 8:32 PM ^
Typically a conference can only send 2 teams to BCS bowls. The exception is if an AQ wins their conference and 2 other teams in that conference finish #1 and #2. It's possible that UGA could knock off LSU, get a BCS bid, and LSU and Bama still finish 1-2. This would greatly reduce Michigan's shot at a BCS bowl though. That would leave only 1 at large bid for everyone to fight for.

I am so fucking tired of hearing how Michigan sucks from those Pokes!
