Article on Luke Kennard (2015 BB)

This kid is from my hometown and from what I hear Michigan has been going after the kid since 8th grade. Some feel Michigan is where he will land but with some of the offers he has out there and his Dad (who is a big influence in his life) is a huge Kentucky fan so you just never know. Good read though.

Now the question becomes, do you get to play out your eligibility per handedness?

Like his left-handed basketball side can play 1-2 years of basketball, then go pro, while not interfereing with his right-handed side's 5-year football eligibility.

Someone check the rulebook on that.

It will be interesting to see where Kennard and Carlton Bragg end up. It seems that UM is definitely a player for Kennard and UK is pushing hard for both. It looks like OSU is probably going to take 4-5 recruits in '15 and losing out on the two top players in the state (in probably the best class to come out of OH in a very long time) probably won't sit too well in Columbus. If Kennard goes blue, though, I would rather him go north. My Cincy friends who are OSU football/UK basketball fans are the absolute worst.

while we may have been first in--every indication is that we are no longer among his first-tier of teams.  I will be shocked if he ends up anywhere but Kentucky.

Seen him play in person. Has a sloppy handle, no right hand, and forces up a lot of garbage inside the arc. Must have gotten swatted by a guy shorter than him about five times. Just a shooter.
