Article Containing Miss St Coach With UM Connection (SIAP)
Ive never heard of this guy can anyone shed some light on the background for this coach. Seems as if he has relations with UofM for years and sounds as if he is close to Dave Brandon. Can anyone share some insight? Go Blue!

Ouimet! he's from Ann Arbor and worked with UM. he was an assistant recruiting coordinator, assistant on special teams and coordinated player development for, i believe, Lloyd Carr.
we used to call him "Ol' Oimey" when we'd see him out and about. he'd kind of give a half wave and keep on his way but deep down, we all knew he was smiling.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is an assistant recruiting coordinator? Visions of Dwight Schroot and assistant to an assistant pop into my head. It sounds like an administrator's administrative position. Aren't the coaches the ones that do the real recruiting? The title "Assistant Recruiting Coordinator" makes it seem like the guy organizes the travel plans . . .
