Title not very informative -- as I recall there may have already been this thing you call an "article" written about Jim Harbaugh before

Hey OP - are you the poster formally known as "Voltron is handsome?"  If so, are you also looking forward to the Browns this year (I am for some odd reason).

Been meaning to ask that and I figured this post was as good as any.

On one hand...I 100% believe you're Voltron Is Handsome.

On the other...when I first started posting here, people SWORE up and down I was some character named em0 - so I have sympathy if you're not. But you are.

On the third hand...I'm even MORE confused because as I post this, there is some ad on the left of the screen about Chinese-Lady.com and it's the woman with a huge rack in a sexy pink number that doesn't necessarily look like she's Chinese. To make matters even more confusing it says "Most Trusted Dating Service in China"...but I'm in North Carolina.

2 days.

I was hoping it was an article about his preferences in pant material.  Alas, it was not.  So I am left to sit idly wondering some more.

Multiple players have reported his tendency to jump in a take a few snaps in live action. Rudock, already a college quarterback for four years, says the education in drop-backs, understanding reads and progressions has been invaluable.

You kind of get the feeling that even at 51, Harbaugh would jump right in there in an emergency if the NCAA would let him do it.

That being said, this was actually insightful as I really hadn't thought too much about what that has to be like for that unit, to be QBs coached by someone who was himself a QB here and a revered one at that. I bet Harbaugh does take their successes / challenges a bit more personally.

It reminds me of  something he said last week about "If the old age and the NCAA would allow it, I would" referring to playing in the game. I think I botched the quote, but to you point he totally would jump in there and play if he could.

"I can do it coach!", Jim says to himself.

In response, "Okay then! Show those youngsters on the other team what a real quarterback looks like!"

"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH", 51 year old quarterback Jim Harbaugh yells as he takes the field.

I'm sure other examples exist, but this is one of my favorite hockey stories. A comparable situation unfolded in game two the 1928 Stanley Cup Finals, when the NY Rangers found themselves w/o a goalie after an injury. Montreal's coach wouldn't let them borrow a goalie from the audience or the minors, and so NY coach Lester Patrick played goal for a 2-1 overtime win.

The article talks about how intensely the D played in front of their coach, I have to imagine the O-line would be inspired to really take it to the opposing D-line.

Fluff piece but I'll take it. I can't get enough of football related content at this point. These next two days are going to last forever.

The Stars and Stripes had Jim Harbaugh take up the whole back cover yesterday (photo). Luckily I saw it because both sides were being displayed and was able to snag up a copy. I am stationed in England and I thought this was very cool. I do have a photo I just don't know how to upload from iPhone...
