He took 2-star Aaron Kelly and turned him into a 1,000-yard receiver. He has also coached up guys like DeAndre Hopkins (1st round pick), Jacoby Ford (4th round pick), and Sammy Watkins (AP All-American as a true freshman).

Good thing I doudble checked before hitting send on my thread.

I'm hearing/reading the same things about Clemson.  It seems like they have made a surge in the recent weeks.

But I saw somewhere today that George Campbell was visiting us again with Mason and Scott so maybe good news? I hate when Clemson or Auburn is our head to head...

He has visited Michigan more than clemson or anyone else. I think it's Michigan, for one we have Mason Cole and two this comes not that long after we offered canteen and he is supposed to be coming for the BBQ.

i tend to be leaning this way to he wants to get his spot before canteen gets it cause canteen may not be far from committing and then what will scott do i think everyone is picking clemson because it was his last visit but i have to believe cole and the and the fact michigans class is filling up is why he is making his choice now i could be wrong though, plus mich is alot closer to a NC then clemson is and tay wants to win those

that a productive WR would want to move to a heavier running spread-oriented attack at Clemson - especially with Boyd done after this year.

You must have forgotten about DeAndre Hopkins and Sammy Watkins. Both of them were among the best WRs in the country last year. Hopkins was a first round pick in this years draft, and Watkins will be in the future.

Not sure why some of you are surprised that Artavis has them in his top group, and presumed leader. Clemson's offense is not run heavy. Id say its pretty balanced. Id love to have Scott, but he'd fit perfectly in Clemsons scheme.

that those guys are great players but the dominant facet of the offense seems to be run-heavy remember seeing something saying 55/45 split but can't back that up) but I still see the attraction of playing there.  I think it's an exciting program to be a part of.

My point was more with a top QB leaving after this year with little experience behind him.  The numbers of Hopkins & Watkins will be harder to replicate with Boyd's replacements.  The depth chart at QB seems shaky: LINK

It may be 55/45, but Clemson does a great job of getting their playmakers plenty of touches. I agree the attraction will lessen once Boyd graduates, but like others have mentioned, they are bringing in a stud qb next year.

Anything can happen, but Id be shocked if he Artavis goes anywhere other than Clemson.

From the sounds of it, one more visit really could have gone a long ways. The fact that he feels compelled to do this before the BBQ looks more like a bad sign than a good one.

If he waits until July 3rd to announce at the Opening then he'd announce on my daughter b-day. Obviously Michigan then bc I will not let anything bad happen on my daughters b day.

looks like K J Williams is also headed elsewhere if you believe the latest from the crystal ball.

No offense to Canteen but he seems like a back-up, back-up plan (yes i know i Hoke we trust)
