Arrington Ascending

Submitted by jbibiza on

Adrian Arrington had four catches for 87 yards including a 51 yarder in the Saints exhibition loss to N.E..  Great to see him surface - hopefully he remains healthy this year.

This could be somewhat sacrilegious but I always liked him more than Manningham.  As you can guess, I'm very happy that he's playing at all and seemingly doing well (admittedly, in pre-season games).

I also hope Arrington can make it in the League.  I was happy to see him crawl out of Lloyd's dog house and have a really strong junior year (capped off with his performance in the citrus bowl).  Countless number of those stories among Lloyd's players.

Every time I watch the Florida game, his performance really stands out to me.  The whole team played well...it was the petal-to-metal game you always want Michigan to play.  We were aggressive on both sides of the ball ALL DAY, and I don't think UF expected that.

I remain a huge Lloyd fan and it did my heart good to see him go out like that.  I am fully supportive of the RR show though.  I smacked down a Sparty in the bar last night who declared "Rich Rod's gotta go".  I told him to STFU.  God I hope we kick their ass this year.

Missed the game, but he was listed at the top of the receiver board.  Had been pulling for him.  Supposedly the Saints really liked him, but they had such deep depth in that position, and his injury history...  And just a few days ago I read an article-- don't remember if it was on the Saints' website-- that he might be the one on the bubble.  Hope this is a sign of it being a champagne bubble rising.
