I talked with him for about 30 minutes at Lamarr Woodley's football camp this summer.  Started by wishing him well as he had eliminated us at this point and he told me he was still talking with the coaches.  We got into a conversation about how I thought Michigan would do and I told him we would go 8-4, 7-5 at worst.  He thought I was crazy and continued to ask me questions about my opinion on the program and how soon we would be back.

Maybe the start and the amount we are throwing the ball has peaked his interest again.  Going into this season State was protrayed as the passing team and their pasing numbers have dropped off drastically with a returning junior starter.  Let this one play out and see what happens though I would rather have Watkins (speed kills).

Yeah, he's just trying to get our hopes up to make his recruitment more exciting. Now that he's down to 2nd level schools he doesn't get as much media attention as he did when he was considering the best of the best.

I want to beleive this..but I will not try to get my hopes up too high.  This would be a huge grab for us though! Oh..and we would keep him from State....MWAHAHA

UM coaches were on the recruiting trail this week (I bet RR made a trip personally), and we lose interest in AJ who goes to Wisconsin.

Everyone thought Crawford was our only big time target.  But this makes more sense to me.

I'll believe he's serious when I see him on a visit. I'd be more than happy if he decided to join the Wolverines, but this seems extremely odd. I bet one of his cooky friends went on his laptop to play a prank on him with twitter. Damn kids.

He was quoted saying that his Cal visit was an A+ and that they were #1 on his list now.

"I can definitely see myself living out there," Arnett said. "It was real cool and relaxed. I can definitely see myself playing there. Definitely. They're definitely high up there. Definitely."

I really love Michigan and have been a fan since I was a little boy. I will not visit Ann Arbor once and commit to the Crimson Tide after taking only one visit.

I am focusing on going somwhere that I can play right away. Since I am a LB recruit I am going to go to OSU.

I want to focus on academics. WVU is the place for me!

Yeah, FSU, the only school that was legitimately offering him the chance to do both pre-med and football at the same time. Basically everyone else on his list told him, in some way or another, that it would be too difficult to do both.

Perhaps if our coaches would have seriously given him a chance to do both, he would have won a Rhodes scholarship here instead of at FSU.

There is no way anyone who grows up in Michigan wouldn't know what he is saying by tweeting Go Blue, impossible.  Like others have pointed out there's plenty of reason to suspect this being sarcastic or him creating drama but not a mistake.

We don't need another WR, we need LBs and DLs and DBs. Offense sells tickets, but defense will save RR's job.

A kicker who can manage to get an occasional kickoff into the end zone would be nice too.

The staff sees our guys every day.  They know what our needs are.  If they deem a kid worthy of recruitment, we have to give them the benefit of the doubt.  We don't have enough information at our disposal to argue otherwise.  The only thing I think we can really criticize them for is if they target a bunch of academically-borderline guys.  We've gotten burned too much on them lately.
