This is tough. I have great confidence in this coaching staff and its ability to teach and coach though. We just went 11-2 with kids he Didn't recruit! We still have a great class. life goes on.

I'm thrilled about the kids that have commited to Michigan, but at the same time, I'm frustrated as hell at these schools that openly cheat, lie and badly cover up their wrongdoings and the schools that follow the rules suffer as a result.  Obviously I have no idea what Meyer, Saban or Miles says to an 18-yr old or his parents, but they sure seem to rake in more than their fair share of 5-stars and top ranked athletes.

Does that mean the kids coming to Michigan aren't great kids or great players, hell no!  But the Charles Woodson's are few and far between and MIchigan seems to miss out on them more than most.  We go 11-2 with players this staff didn't recruit and there are great opportunites to play early and often, yet many of these kids choose places where they will be behind other great players.  It doesn't make sense.

Saban and Miles sign 30 players a yea, averaging four 5-star recruits or more each season.  Michigan gets one or two 5-stars if they are lucky and only bring in 26 players max per season.  At that rate, we can't compete.  It'snot a level playing field.  That's the main issue.

I'm shocked.  Especially after Meyer was late and all to his in-home visit.  And isn't Mattison supposed to be a closer?  Urban f-in Meyer.

I think just not offering Williams at the end closed the door. I would guess having his friend and godfather in his ear finally overcame what he probably wanted to do with Michigan.

Has the JOKE landed anyone since the Urbanator got to The Ohio State University? I live in San Diego and know some kids that play for SDSU. They despise Joke. Told them he was leaving w/ a text. What do you think the recruits think of that? Plus I am sure Urb tells them how Miles and Harbaugh wanted nothing to do w/ your school and they had to SETTLE for a below 500 coach when he hired on. When this guy is done you will be praying for the days of The Vest.

Check the school records we still got your ass. Why are you even trolling our boards? And revees is the only recruit YOU HAVE FUCKING BEATEN us on so far with urban!!! Your class currently has 83 players scheduled to be on scholarship So whose getting cut? And not to mention if hoke was so bad and urban so great why did Kalis tell his egoistic ass to not even bother recruiting him?? Actually with your buckeye education maybe I should use a more simplistic word for you then egoistic. I swear I love you buckfucks your the ones that help bag my groceries at Walmart.

As of right now, Ohio State has enough room to sign 3-4 more recruits. They've dismissed Gambrell and Clarke. Taylor Graham and Jeremy Cash have transferred, recruit Roger Lewis has had his scholarship revoked due to poor grades, so as of right now we (OSU) have 23 commits in this current class. Also, a few players (such as Scott McVey and Melvin Fellows) are being released from the team due to medical hardships. Meyer can fit around 25 or 26 recruits in this class, since the sanctions count towards TOTAL scholarships, not yearly scholarships.

But yeah. Stefon Diggs just had his visit to OSU and had some great things to say, and came away saying that there is no clear favorite for him thus far. Before that, nobody thought OSU had much of a chance. Davonte Neal is another possible OSU commit (about 50/50 between OSU and Arizona). Throw in Kyle Dodson and Jamal Marcus and we could very well be near or above where Alabama is in the recruiting rankings. So if you Michigan fans think that today was bad, the next few weeks will sting even more.

Also, I guess all of the other sites I've been reading are wrong regarding Reeves. I thought he was going to Columbus, not Athens. Maybe Frank Solich's Bobcats can win the MAC this year after all.

EDIT: Meant to reply to the guy who tried knocking the quality of an OSU education in a post riddled with spelling and grammatical errors.

Not very much. I fully understand that it will take Urban at least a year to install his spread offense and I rather him do it during a year where we can't go to the postseason anyways. The optimistic side of me wants a 10+ win season, but the realistic side is expecting 8+ wins.

Why didn't we recruit Camren Williams? Don't tell me because our LB class is full. OSU has four LB recruits and is probably going to add a fifth in that Marcus dude.
